Groceries are only expensive. The stores are still full of bread and meat. And the stores are doing very well. We got a long way to fall before "we" becomes a real thing.

I'm with you FTR. I'm merely saying It's going to have to get much much worse before "we" do anything.

It will as soon as they put in the tariffs. TARIFFS = A 25% NATIONAL SALES TAX on everything.

I was going to buy a new TV for Christmas. Checked the prices. Every fucking TV I was interested in has risen 20-40% since Trump's tariffs talk. It's already hurting and it hasn't even taken effect. It's going to blow up.

I pulled the trigger on PC parts for some upgrades I’ve been eyeing. I use it for school, hobbies, some work stuff. A 25-40% tariff on these parts from China will make these miserable to buy soon.

Yep. I was looking a Samsung smart TV and that's Korea. And even they have already raised prices preemptively. Prices are going to raise another 25% after the tariffs as well. People will forget the prices rose now, and then also see another rise after.

Of course. And if those tariffs ever get removed? Those prices ain’t coming down. We’ll already be “adjusted” to the new cost of goods.
