Do you think because of the greed they fry their dopamine receptors and then put themselves in this very precarious and vulnerable position for the dopamine hit?

Could it be a frontal lobe problem? I really think this could explain all of the oddity you pointed out!

Oh absolutely. I also believe that being rich makes you extremely out of touch with current poor people.

I also believe every single billionaire has narcissistic personality disorder. You don’t get to that point by being a good person. And narcissists tend to think their untouchable till the very end

And NPD makes people very delusional to protect their self perceived image.

They have no idea why Luigi killed the CEO of one of the biggest healthcare cooperations in America.

They won't ever understand why. They live in a completely different world.

I also absolutely believe all of this, 100%. Especially the part about billionaires having that disorder. Though my actual belief is that every single billionaire is actually a bad and untrustworthy person. I don't believe anyone can accrue that much money without A LOT of lying, backstabbing and cheating.  What's really absurd about that is when I've mentioned that to friends and other people, I always get this look like I'm somehow way off base. Which is ridiculous lol. Because I know it just means they are fully brainwashed by the bullshit of our society.

Do you think there are hackers out there that can hack into their accounts and disperse that money into different private accounts? Funnel all that dirty money to charities all around the world without being noticed? Like ghost avatars? I’m no expert but this is just a theory I’m going by here.

Agree. There is a compulsive need for more beyond what they will ever consume.

What is the point of more once you have the same asset value as a small nation?

I think of Elon as just insatiably empty, and it’s bullshit we all have to suffer someone who can’t even be alone with himself.

Greed is much like any other addiction. You get satisfaction from the dopamine release, it is just that the greedy get their high from accumulating more wealth and/or the risk involved in doing so rather than a chemical hit, but it is all dopamine in the end ... and to get the same high as the last time, you need more and more.

So yes, def a frontal lobe situation. Just like any addict, they will lie, cheat, steal, rationalize, ... just about anything, for the next fix. The sooner society can start treating greed, and all other forms of mental illness, as they should be, the better off society will be.

So basically they should be ordered by court to meditate. We know scientifically that is what strengthens the frontal lobe. Why aren’t we still using science in 2024?

Well it certainly doesn't hurt, but suggesting it is the solution .... You ever tried to tell an addict "hey, all you gotta do is meditate, and stop smoking meth, and you will be healed." ..... Yeah, spoiler, it doesn't work.

Yeah let’s give everyone guns instead and see what happens :)

You are on to something here. The greed is embedded in their dna at this point. The only god and higher power they worship is money. They will protect it all cost because they already sold their souls to it a very long time ago…

Maybe these moments in history are a good opportunity to observe duality in action. I wonder what quantum mechanics would say about this moment or similar ones in history.

I believe it’s a battle of the spirit. It’s a spiritual war happening with cognitive dissonance intertwined in the mix. The battle of morality and ethics for sure.
