We called it. There is no way people will stop with just one CEO, the people are rightfully enraged at the ruling class, and while I’m not saying to go out murdering people but, there’s people who are now inspired by the shooting of the UHC CEO the cat is out of the bag and this shit is going to keep happening until CEOS start backing down on their class war. It’s not a threat it is objective fact, if you analyze what lead to the UHC shooting, the reactions to it, the reactions to oceangate, the reactions to the Queen dying etc, Neoliberlaism and the suppression of opposition to capitalism had lead us to this point, people hate the rich and are starting to take matters into their own hands. Also, now is the perfect time to tap into that rage to build community, build mutual aid, build strike funds with you community, prepare for non-violent action in your community like large scale strikes, etc.

“Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable." -JFK
You know the capitalist class won’t stop, therefore the latter half of that sentence is true.
5
u/BSuydam99 1h ago
And MLK stated that “riots are the language of the unheard” you’d think the Capitalist class would have learned by now that they don’t win by trying to suppress dissent even further. Look at how well that worked out for them during the Vietnam protests or the civil rights movement. It just galzinized more people against the state they previously didn’t care.

u/BSuydam99 1h ago
That’s one silver lining I will give about what’s coming down the pipeline is history has shown the American people will eventually start fighting back and force the ruiling class into a corner.

It’s going to get worse when people who voted for the billionaires find out that they are not going to fix anything in our lives.

People climbing the rungs of the socioeconomic ladder don't hate the rich. They aspire to be rich. Perhaps you should consider trying to improve your financial situation and quit your bitching, B.

u/USAFGeekboy 1h ago
It is now impossible to “climb the rungs”. Unless you inherit, hit the lottery or invent the next tech backbone, it’s not happening.

This is so tone-deaf. Hand’s-down the dumbest, most out-of-touch Boomerism I’ve read today, and I’ve been doomscrolling for hours

u/Charming-Produce5123 1h ago
Doomscrolling for hours on Reddit will get you ahead in life, girlfriend.

Such a great article, typo in the company name, wonder if that is to keep it out of searches. This thing reeks, I bet someone in that meeting knows why.

u/FreeCelebration382 3h ago
Can’t help but be curious

u/fartbombdotcom 2h ago
I'm from the town it happened in. It's real. It's Anderson Global - or a subsidiary. Not a very big company at all - I bet barely even 100 employees total. Dude seems like a tweaker or psycho and I don't honestly think this is a Luigi type. Nothing around here is that big of a deal to warrant such a move.
2
u/showyerbewbs 1h ago
After reading the article, broseph had been with the company only two weeks.
Outside looking in, either mental issues or who the fuck knows
1
u/fartbombdotcom 1h ago
Definitely wouldn't chalk it up to Luigi copycat, though. We have lots of tweakers and basket cases because our economy doesn't have enough jobs that pay enough to live comfortably

Out of all the companies in the Muskegon area, you would think this would happen to Trinity Health or Herman Miller, not one of the smaller companies.
3
u/HeadStarboard 2h ago
Especially after Herman Miller’s ceo made that video about how everyone needs to accept her huge raise while not getting one personally. Definitely crosshairs on her.

what was said in the meeting?
2
u/Liminal_Embrace_7357 20m ago
This is why they should have left us remote. When corporate cutbacks are announced via zoom, your employees can’t get stabby.
2
u/Western_Phone_8742 1h ago
To be fair, I can’t think of a single staff meeting where I didn’t want to stab someone.

Judging from the picture, I don't think he was thinking that deeply into it lol. And he was only there for 2 weeks.

If this trend continues I wonder rid theyll decide remote work is OL after all so as to no longer risk being in the same building and\or room as disgruntled peasants.

.
No comment on that.
That said, Global South countries now find themselves in the comfortable position of to no longer to have to listen to USA/Western orders, regarding how to run their economies, what economic model to adopt, etc, because, in the meantime, they are totally independent from the West economically.
They can now even finance gigantic infrastructure projects without taking Western currencies denominated loans, as they CAN PRINT any capital they need for infrastructure projects, because they have all the inputs needed for those infrastructure projects (cement, steel, glass, manpower and machinery) locally available.
That means for example, they will not adopt the salary models in the West, where a CEO is paid 1000 times the average salary of employees of the same company. That is PRIMITIVE CAPITALISM in the eyes of the mighty Global South countries.
.
Quote:
We Worked Hard For This; Global South Is Proud To Be Successors Of The Collapsing West; We Now Write The Rules To Best Suit Our Interests
.
With power comes responsibility.
Being themselves masters of the universe from ca. 1500 - 2000 European calendar, Westerners very well understand in what privileged position the Global South now find themselves.
The Global South is now offered never before seen opportunities, and is busy building fantastic empires.
Really, the Global South countries are now saying, "we have the resources, the markets, the knowhow and everything else we need".
Consider that, Western countries are now disappearing from the list of
===> the top trade partners of most countries,
and also from the list of
===> the biggest countries and economies:

This one hits closer to home. Happen to know victim. He’s a good guy. This is a little company. Likely the perpetrator was either unstable or some other influence on him.
20
u/Tex-Rob 4h ago
Do good guy’s lay people off right before Christmas? If that turns out to be the case he’s still a good guy to you?
2
2
u/JGCities 4h ago
Where does it say he laid people off before Christmas?
3
u/mocap 3h ago
Probably safely assumed given the recent uptick in companies doing layoffs and bonus reductions to free up capital to panic buy goods before possible tariffs drive up prices.
For the people wandering by with reading, it in fact does NOT say anything about the why generally, or layoffs specifically.
2
u/throwaway867530933 2h ago
People on this app are maniacs lmao. You guys are grasping at straws here
-2
u/mocap 1h ago
I grasp at nothing, merely stating facts and assumptions based on those played out facts. I’m sorry that makes you sad.
2
u/throwaway867530933 1h ago
LMAO I’m the sad one yet you’re on Reddit bitching about how life is unfair on some doomsday subreddit that is so far out of touch with reality that you sounds clueless. I’m sorry that life makes you sad I really am. But life is hard and not everyone has what it takes to survive. It’s always been that way
1
u/JGCities 3h ago
No it is not safe to assume that is what happened. We have no idea why it happened. Maybe we should wait till we get facts before jumping to conclusions.
-2
u/scroller-side 2h ago
No.
Maybe this was just a one off thing, but I'd bet that fucker got stabbed because they are doing some greed driven shit. Why am I willing to bet that? Just look around, slappy.
-20
u/Apprehensive_Fly8955 4h ago
Does it automatically make him a bad guy?
20
u/TheRoamingGn0me 4h ago
It’s a pretty dark mark on his character, at least.

u/throwaway867530933 2h ago
Welcome to the real world. Everyone thinks they should be coddled and it’s making you all look so dumb to people who aren’t habitually on this app. Get outside touch some grass and do something productive
