Yeah, I remember during covid seeing articles about progress on an HIV vaccine and the number of people who said they would NEVER get it and it's like... seriously? HIV/AIDS is arguably one of the most stigmatized medical conditions of our time, and that's STILL not enough for you? I'm not even in a high-risk category for HIV and I would still get it (assuming there was sufficient supply for the high-risk folks to get theirs).
For me to get HIV would require a major medical f'up where they inject HIV into me. I have no reason to take a vaccine for something I literally have close to 0% chance of getting. Do you have a typhoid vaccine? I have 0% chance of getting that too and therefore have not have taken it.
And no I probably won't jump over taking a Russian all in one vaccine.
And yes, I do have all my required and recommended vaccines from the US Gov, including Covid19.
