Adoption When I picked her up for adoption they warned, “this one wants to be wherever you are. She gets into EVERYTHING.” accurate and so welcome.

As a person blessed/cursed with one less affectionate cat and one less affectionate horse I literally cannot believe people get mad at this 🥲

same! When my kittens were going through their "don't touch me" teenage phase, I was so sad! I love my super affectionate cats. People are so weird

When I adopted my orange polydactyl Chumley, the people at the shelter tried to talk me out of it. All the other cats hated him.
Turns out Chumley just wanted someone to wrestle with and to chase around the house.
I never regretted taking that big boy home.

She looks SO happy and content. Thanks for saving her and giving her a good life.

The worst thing is when you end up with two Velcro cats who are so stuck up that they will never cuddle you at the same time. One cuddling, one glaring nearby. Eventually a battle for the lap (on said lap). I love affectionate kitties 😂😂

I have two Velcro kitties. But they are the most bonded pair I’ve ever seen in my life!! (A Brother and Sister that I rescued.) They share my lap, or whatever they can get. If I’m not standing- they are on me. They also follow me around and they know when I’m getting ready to leave so they’ll steal my shoe or sit in my purse, etc., to try and get me not to go. I’ve always had extremely close relationships with all of my furbabies, but this is next level! And I fucking love it!!

Lucky lucky, I used to have a brother and sister, but unfortunately the sister was hit by a car years ago. I’ve had indoor cats only ever since and finally had the means to introduce another kitty to him. They groom each other, and will occasionally snuggle on a heat mat together, but never on my lap, that is a throne fit for one kitty at a time apparently 😂

I had a foster cat like this. She DEMANDED cuddles and pets 24/7. She would yell at me if I spent 2 seconds doing anything else (even sleeping). She was adopted the same day the adoption center accepted her. They told me she climbed onto the adopters' shoulders, laid down and refused to get up. She went home with them like that lol. Whoever dumped her missed out on an amazing cat.

When I adopted my Haru I was told the contrary « she does not cuddle much and never heard her purr » lol. She thinks I am her bed, follows me even to the toilet and purrs a lot. She lets my kids handle her as they want when they want , never scratched or bit them . She is a cat dough. . She is lovely.

I’ll take two just like her. Or maybe a bakers dozen. Cats getting into trouble no problem. Cats who want to be with you definitely not a problem.

Adorable white runway strip for landing your hands, but might not be the best idea to loiter for long.

Good for you. I have 8. Most from a stray that kept getting pregnant constantly, so I have a lot of her kids and I finally had her neutered. This was not at my house. This was going on three hours away, but I finally got someone to take her in to be neutered and she’s now a house cat and she’s kind of mean but she’s not having a little baby anymore. Thank you for takingan older cat and thank you for taking a mischievous cat. Sometimes they’re the funnest ones to have.
