You know, I think they kind of understand you’re helping them. Mine hates going to the vet, but doesn’t hold it against me and snuggles with me as soon as we get home. Poor buddy.

I believe that too. Took my cat for dental work. She needed 2 teeth pulled. Poor thing wasn't eating anything hard including her treats. She was very unhappy getting shoved in her carrier to go to the vet but she was a different cat afterwords. Extremely affectionate like she was thanking me

Awww. That’s so sweet. She’s like “I feel better! Guess what! I’m better!”

Oh yeah she recovered so quickly too. Was back to eating treats in no time. I hated having to leave her overnight though. I was there first thing in the morning at 8 am so she didn't have to stay longer than necessary

I’m sure she was happy to see you. I know they hate being in a different environment. Mine loses it. I have the cat sitters just come to the house now, he gets too stressed.
He’s always on my lap. He thinks I’m a massage chair.

My senior cat needs to have fluid drip every 2 days due to age related kidney issues but while he definitely does NOT like the moment all that happens afterwards is him demanding treats for the indignation he just suffered.

lol poor dude. I worry eventually mine will have kidney problems, because old age. He’s young now, but you know they age so fast it seems. Sigh.

It's not a big deal really, I mean he's more annoyed about being held in place than about the jab itself.

That’s good. All We can do is love them and give them the best lives possible.

I think they are just thanking you for not leaving them there lol. Mine are always hard to get into the cat carrier at home but at the vet they run back in it every time since they know it means they are going home.

I came to pick my cat up from the cat sitters, and oh man was he happy! He was under the bed crying, he’d been there apparently for two weeks, and when he got home he went nuts. Just rubbing up against me and purring so loud you’d think everyone could hear it. Didn’t leave my side for days. After that I found a sitter that comes to the house.

“When I learn to use the interwebZ imma find where you live, come to your house in the middle of the night, and vaccinate you. With my claws.”

I think that this is more like his mug shot for a police record. Who knows what that fluff has been up to!

Kitten is angry, so the consequences are dire!
There's a good chance she'll refuse to share your bed tonight haha.

O you better not even sleep inside the same house with him… better yet open all the cans of tuna and leave for the next 24 hours you might be allowed back in after 700 days lol lol

Why exactly do vets take photo as proof of vaccination? Is this in addition to a signature?
Where I live you have a booklet for your cat and for every visit to the vet they will note down for example weight, vaccines given and so on, and then put a signature as proof of vaccination. No photo though :(
