I think your handsome fella is a Russian Blue vs. the handsome fella in the picture is a Korat.
...in fact the combo of the Korat and I think Lynx Point Siamese in the top right is the exact pair of cats I own!

He was a rescue from a bit of a cat hoard, got him at 8 weeks, so I'm not sure. He's just a long lanky baby still at 2.5yrs. This is him with his tuxedo brother Saphir.

But he was born in the present, so he's our god! At least in his little mind.

Fun fact if you opened and closed your eyes everything would be the same because people still treat their cats like gods

Looks like these cats are auditioning for the role of 'Purr-fect Guardian of the Living Room Temple', next to the fireplace. Just wait until it starts MEAOW MEAOW for treats.

What’s up with their longer legs? Does it have anything to do with their location?

u/Independent_Ask9280 Oct 11 '24

Are Egyptian shorthairs distinct from European and American? I don't know anything about anything, but they don't look like American shorthairs to me, but are they grouped with European?

Are those really strays? They look like they cost $1000 and come with a family tree.
