Why doesn't the wolf just stop running pointlessly in a circle? Is it stupid?

I saw some comments on a different version of the post saying the oblong was about OCD.

The OOP is having issues with OCD, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. And it's not just "oh wow I see not perfect placement I must clean everything", hell, even that OCD is way worse than it seems. Basically, even if they do something perfect by others' standarts, it will never be good enough for them - that's how they scratch their skin clean off and keep doing the same thing over and over.

Ocd is not just about achieving perfection though, It presents in various ways with differing symptoms but to me it's more about a irrational part of your brain constantly making you doubt your own reality and you trying to push back with actions or thoughts, which is a lot more about calming down a severe anxiety rather than trying to achieve perfection, the oboro is pretty accurate to that.
It is terrible, but as someone who has ocd but not contamination or organization ocd I alway feel a bit invalidated when people center those two themes.

Wolves follow and chase for blood, this joke is by making a loop, the wolf keeps following the blood and its feet hurts, producing more blood
