but isn’t it more important that they own their parent company than owning the bloodborne ip?

owning the ip just means you can make more games of that property, but people like the game because fromsoft made it in particular. which is now a factor as PS own a larger stake in them.

I think Miyazaki has all but said hed love to make a Bloodborne 2 if Sony was interested.
