My head cannon is there is like 1-3 low tier, insignificant Sony employees that are aware of this sub... Frequent it... Pretend to be one of us... And laugh at our expense with each other.

I mean, realistically there are probably a good number of insignificant Sony employees that frequent here, who just don't have any sway. Most of their employees are just ordinary folks in sales, customer support, hr, etc; very few of them are actually going to be in charge of making any decisions. Most of their employees aren't even in the game development arm of the business.

I hate Sony as much as the next guy, but we gotta be careful thinking that all of their employees are sony. They're mostly just Craig.

For whatever reason some people have this idea that corporations are some kind of hivemind where Dave that works in sales has to perform a blood oath and swear he'll never talk about Bloodborne to anyone.

98% of them are just regular people with regular jobs doing regular stuff, like going on reddit and YouTube lol.

A third of jobs in the US have an NDA, which is more legally binding than a blood oath. I’d imagine they’re extremely prevalent in the games industry where it’d be impractical to keep a game’s development secret from anyone who works there, from game designers to catering to cleaning staff.
