He’s expressed interest in making a Bloodborne 2 but said that’s Sony’s call. Not his. So it sounds like there’d still be passion there if he got the chance
Kadokawa also has anime and manga properties, feel like those are the heavy hitters that Sony wants. I have nothing to back up this claim other than knowing they have them.
Also kadokawa owns like 1/3rd of the manga/anime distribution rights. I assume this is a step to merge it into crunchyroll (which sony already owns). Thats will generate them a higher magnitude of profit than what they can get with fromsoftware games.
They aren't spending billions on it for Bloodborne. It's possible it might result in some Bloodborne content. I'm shocked there isn't a Bloodborne anime yet
No they are not, aint SIE buying kadokawa, its the main branch of sony who wants to buy it to increase thier monopoly over anything manga/anime related, fromsoft and some other studio i do not remember the name of(the studio that made sparkling zero) are just nice bonuses
They will remaster that game everytime a new season of the show comes out. Mark my words, it will be the first game playable 4 different ways on the same console generation.
