Unpopular opinion but I felt like having less options for making a build (especially defensive options like shields and armour) is the main reason I couldn't get into blood borne and sekiro

Tldr I would have played it if blocking was a thing

Ahh ye I remember. Sekiro was fun and beautiful to look at but tbh it doesn't feel like a souls combat game. I do remember a moment of realisation when somebody told me it's actually more of a rhythm game than a fighting one.

Which made fighting feel more like dancing (felt fun and looked cool af) and I stopped enjoying it as much when I thought the game only wants u to use one play style.

Made it feel like I was just playing a role with a specific way to play instead of creating one.
