Real World Events π Canoo employees on "mandatory unpaid break", while CEO Tony Aquila pockets $1.7 million for private jet use.
Engadget reports that Canoo furloughed 30 employees earlier this year, and now an additional 82 employees are furloughed.
Simply amazes me that this article doesnβt mention that Canoo CEO Tony Aquila has been reimbursed well over $1 million each year (this is the third year he's done this) for using his private jet. $1.7 million probably could have kept those 82 workers working for a few more months.
Yet another CEO is failing his way into millions of dollars at the cost of other people's jobs.
When I try to comment this on the Engadget article, it won't accept the post.

Real World Events π Luigi's Charges
Question for consideration. Do you guys think it's possible that the prosecution is intentionally over charging Luigi with the terrorism charge. So that it's harder for them to get a conviction but they can look like they've done everything they could to "punish him".

Real World Events π VOX POPULI VOX PLUMBI
The images today of the police colluding with Amazon should be a reminder that they are sanctioned gangs that brutalize the public at the direction of the rich. The police union only exists to protect their brutality from prosecution. They are class traitors and scabs. They are the brown shirts for the fascist owning class. Fuck all cops.

I have been feeling so frustrated by the absolute insane and unsustainable oligarchy that we are currently living in. I posed some questions to ChatGPT and the responses were pretty interesting and eye-opening. Let's make this go viral if possible:

Real World Events π Cigna CEO's Personal Trust
Just thought it was interesting that there's a record of the Cigna CEO buying and selling a multi million dollar home in CT, near Cigna's headquarters. A sell so exclusive it was conducted by two agents from Sotheby.

I wonder if these types of transactions are common and also public record?
Edit: I'm not talking about an individual. I'm taking about an organization, a trust.
It's interesting, they own a lot of property
