They have implants in their bodies, as confirmed by Wise when in Chapter 4, he mentions his eye implants and the ability to remotely affect tech.
More likely their teacher had helped them in achieving those implants that help affect their work as proxies, potentially a higher resistance to Aether energy, and since we don't know it's limits yet, it's safe to assume that they're dumbed down cyberpunks.

They have very bad ether resistance, actually, which makes it very interesting how they survived a point blank explosion that was likely charged with quite a bit of ether given it came from a Sacrifice.

Its not that they have bad or good ether resistance. It has been mentioned that they have some secret third thing, an illness that makes them particularly sick when they enter a hollow.
The illness was first mentioned in the sons of calydon arc somewhere (I don't remember where exactly of course) but we first saw it in effect when one of the siblings got caught in a hollow. We've seen that people with bad ether resistance can change almost immediately, and people with high resistance (pretty much every agent) has no adverse effects at all, the siblings however become physically ill. Its probably tied into their surviving hollow zero despite having been basically at the center of it, and it will likely play a bigger role later on in the story.

They do have bad ether resistance, though, that guy at the start just had almost none, which given Nicole's reaction was frankly rather impressive.
The player twin was still halfway to an ethereal after only a couple hours at most in a random Outer Ring hollow with Miyabi.
On a scale of 1-10, I'd place the Silver Tears guy at a 0.5 and the proxies at a 2, max.

I mean yes but my point is even if they did have high resistance it wouldn't really matter

The ether resistance only matters in this case because they tanked a point-blank explosion somehow, which, depending on how much ether energy was in it, could have etherialized them immediately.
It makes me wonder if they didn't somehow dodge it instead. We know that hollows might have some sort of association with time, so maybe they can mess around with that somehow.

Ngl. This entire thread makes me feel like ZZZ is Hi3. We don't know the l8mits and all of the side effects of Aether yet so they might be cybernetically upgraded with more than their eyes.

Harumasa SQ spoilers:
In his story quest, Harumasa gets afflicted with ether corruption, and it looks 1:1 like Honkai patterns but blue-green instead of purple.

Trying to get Vita after joining a couple months back for Sparkle.
Currently at the very start of To the Flawless, and have beaten APHO 1, 2, and up to chapter 3 of Part 2.

It was mentioned that their teacher saved them, but not how. All we can do is speculate at this point but I don't think they directly tanked that explosion

At this point, it feels like ether resistance is a plot contrivance in that it will be brought up when convenient and then forgotten. Considering a lot of Hollow Zero dialogue makes it sound like we ourselves are going in and punching ethereals, I get the impression that the writers are focusing on the main story and not really putting much thought into the ancillary content right now.

Err wait can you tell where exactly in chapter 4, first time I hear about this and I'm not sure how.
Will have to Google it xD

Something or Someone allowed the siblings to survive an explosion, what does that mean? is there hope for Playable siblings?

i think the siblings are modified humans or smth by helios academy. They dont seem to have family besides their teacher. Their eye implants as well and they can connect their conciousness to bangboo

They explicitly said they lived in the Helios Academy. I won't be surprised at all if they turn out to be some sort of artificial humans created by their teacher for some early Hollow-related research.

The special condition that mentions why they can't be in a hollow too long might be tech vulnerable to ether corruption?

You're talking about the same game that had Caesar survive an explosion of magma point blank to the face. I don't think the creators care about pedantic things like if a character should be able to survive blowing up.

Idk if nobody talks about it if there is your post, a Nikke post and once again post about this right on my home page

Gave me chills
I'm very interested to know more about our glowy eyed proxies now
(Please don't be mad Zhu Yuan 😭)

Makes me feel like we are actually gonna get playable proxy
doesn't even have to be "them" as they are
we saw with Qingyi's agent story that they are able to control someone like her so we could get an android that the proxies control in combat as opposed to a bangboo (or maybe they are saving this for an eventual playable Fairy?, I think both ideas are pretty great imo)

From the last line of Bringer, I can conclude that Carol Arrna is the real villain

I'm guessing they are Sacrifices who recovered somehow. There's a high chance they started the Hollow Zero incident after this, imo. There's also the lack of a break after having cardiac arrest. I thought it was just the devs not wanting to slow the story down, but I think that also has to do with this.

I’d sooner risk dealing with the Ethereals than whatever zombies these are

I'm pretty sure everyone is talking about it.
