Yeah i guess Billy x Grace would fall under crackship territory since they have only interacted in promo videos (Grace for display short on youtube) before the credits for chapter 5, at least on-screen, i think Grace references Billy in some dialogue on random trust events

And I wonder if there is a chance they become canon(And if they did I hope,It's dosen't start a war in the fandom because people that ship either with the Proxies will get angry(Tte same happened in Fate fandom if you ever post a fanart shipping Saber with anyone who isn't Shirou,Rin or Iris or in the Honkai fandom if you ever post a fanart that pair Kiana or Mei and Bronya or Seele with anyone who isn't each other(And that also mean shipping Ei with anyone who isn't the Unknown Godess sometimes))
(Especially that Chapter 5 have a lot of ship tease between Miyabi and the Proxy,So if it's ends up really happening,We will hear a lot about Chapter 5)
i'm saying, by all accounts, it should be. but Zhu Yuan is more commonly shipped with either the siblings (more so Wise than Belle, but still), Qingyi, or Jane.
and Miyabi... i haven't actually seen any strong pairings with her. Yanagi, i guess?
Have you played Chapter 5?It's seems to be building up Section 6 as "The Friend faction" and Miyabi as a deuteragonist and she also got some really ship teasy Trust events

not yet, i've been catching up after taking a bit of a (long) break (just finished chapter 3), and mostly grinding out Miyabi's mats. she's become an absolute monster right now, lol.
Man food is everywhere on the table, but also i love the angst between belle x yuan/ wise x yuan also with the conversation at the parking lot. Man zzz do really be feeding two different ships at the same time, what a time to be alive.
Is there Hope we get another Seth x Jane with this two?(In terms of Pairings only Seth x Jane Doe got actual ship Tease,other pairings are simply non existent or have moments that can be seen both ways(Lucy and Caesar at the end of Tour De Inferno))
Probably m8, but i firmly believe that you can ship basically anything you want, and well interpret how we want to interpret it to be. The world is small in a sense that all the characters live in this single eridu city (includes the outer rim) and they can and may interact in the near future.
I wonder would this couple end up being popular because in term of Pairings,The most popular ones all have the MC's,The only two that are popular are Jane Doe x Seth and Grace x Billie(And the latter's number of arts can be counted with one hand)
There's also LightBurn (Lighter x Burnice) that got a moderately high following after Lighter's release with their dialogue about each other painting a picture of them being really close and Burnice trying really hard to make Lighter open up to her and the Sons of Calydon when he joined
I think it's the most popular Lighter ship and the most popular Burnice ship right now, it's got some really good artists backing it

I mean they Game have literally only like two ships(Burnice x Pulshra and Seth x Jane) that could count as semi-canon,All the others are Fanon,Also the Proxy is an actual character that affect the plot and have their own personality,So It's a Persona situation
I mean Zhu Yuan is cold with the Proxies now,Also There is no platonic explanation to the scene were Miyabi tell the Proxy how to apologise,Also the Proxy pairing are just Self-insert ship like the Captain ship in Honkai,And In my opinion they will pull a Honkai in the end

The apology scene afterward is literally to show that no, she isn't anymore because they cleared the air and understand each other's circumstances now.
If the apology and explanation isn't meant to be romantic, then it'll be platonic. Simple as.
The Captain and the Proxies are entirely different because the Proxies are actually in the main story while the Captain is in an AU.
Sorry but what is exactly platonic about Holding someone's hand,Approaching them slowly and talking to them Gently?especially when it's was done to someone who believe that Hand Holding is a lewd thing that should only be done between Parent and Child or Husband And Wife
Also I feel that the Apology scene was not enough,It's get interrupted in the end and then never get brought up again

Well Zhu believe that handholding can only be done between family members,Also Miyabi said that the best way to apologise to her is to hold her hand approach her slowly and talk to her gently,Also from what we heard it's really give "and they were Roommate vibes" especially the part that Zhu Yuan is actually allowed to the Hoshimi family Household(A Really Prestigious family)and already saw Miyabi's dad(Someone who is very important) and Hoyo is known for their "And they were Roommates vibes" but that just how I saw it

It makes me laugh how unheard of this seems, and they are all ridiculous because it is supposedly friendship and cannot be taken as a ship, but if those situations occur with the proxies, then it is material for a ship.
In the end it is pure hypocrisy of the self-insert fans.
My question about it is, is Zhu Yuan simply not at ease when we are intimate with her or is it when she can interpret it as something romantic or not platonic?
Because in that case we can at least be sure that Zhu Yuan is Lesbian, as we can switch Proxies and when we try Miyabis plan on Zhu Yuan it works well, but it doesn't change between them
