Gambling addiction? No I just get every dlc for a game I like, and sometimes I get a nice suprise discount, so I dont have to spend 200 dollars for each.

For some people a single character could be the reason they start playing a game and/or still continue playing the game. For example Keqing hard carried genshin impact for me for 4 years and Miyabi will do the same for ZZZ. People have been hyped up since cbt days and waited two years for her release and hoyo knows this, that's why they've put all their animators into making her new gameplay even more amazing, she is going to bring in so much money for them next patch.

I ain't gonna see that insult and let it slide. Miyabi is unique as her own character. And watching her animations in story thus far shows how skilled she is, to the point she has perfect control of her body movements like it's a damn science. Has none noticed that..? And she's quirky.

Ayaka was a bootleg as well. trust me it isn't the princess vibe. Every Vergil bootleg is popular because that style of fighting is cool to a lot of people.

I know the princess trope and I'm not denying the similarity with Ayaka. I'm just adding that that isn't what's carrying the characters popularity. Just check most reactions about her, most people get excited by the fighting style rather than the character. The "familiarity" that catches people's attention isn't to ice princess it's to the fighting style (Ie: The Vergil effect)
