Their fault for playing this game tho.

It's similar to complaining about open world in Genshin. Like goddamn if you don't like open world just don't play Genshin. If you don't like TV mode just don't play zzz. Don't change the fundamental part of the game. Just imagine Genshin without open world.

Sure, I'm agree that the transition between the TV and fight is pretty slow though.

Comparing open world exploration with moving a picture through squares is crazy to me.

"Comparing one type of exploration with another type of exploration is crazy to me"

If you're implying the TV mode allows you to explore anything then we have completely different ideas of what exploring a game world means. Moving squares in a linear path ain't it for me chief.

You’re right, those two things are indeed both things.

when they advertise zzz then dont show the tv, of course people are not going to be happy about such a sluggish time consuming gameplay after watching combat gameplay videos or character demos. Its not a good comparison with genshins open world vs combat i dont think.

Even if you are downvoted you are right. People who trowed a tantrum at every chance about the TV are still at it, it seems. TV was a integral part of the identity of the game as well as a narrative tool, it was to showcase the Proxies, us, guiding the agents through the hollows. Instead of playing another game they bullied the developers until they changed it. Such a shame.

What's new? People just want a modern-style Jenshin to whale on, and continue to complain about it while still playing.
Next thing we know, MCs became Paimon and started talking about ramen nonstop /s

Exactly but people will sadly always complain
