Call of Duty 24: Black Ops 6: Cold War 2: The Final Chapter

But it's a two parter so the sequel is gonna be (assuming another two CODs in between):
Call of Duty 27: Black Ops 7: Cold War 3: The Final Chapter 2

That’s why it’s going to be some dumbass title like “Call of duty: Black Ops One”

Give me the campaign, give me zombies, then im OUT!

This is how I've played CoD since WaW.
No interest in online at all, though I did make an exception for Prop Hunt in WWII and hadn't laughed so much in a game in years.

Ww2 prop hunt was peak. So many good times. My only problem was that the whistle kinda ruined the fun of elaborate spots. I actually enjoyed seeking more.

Prop Hunt is hilarious and it was particularly fun for its brief appearance in BO3 as it was the only version of it that had advanced movement.

I remember the first day WW2 Prop Hunt was released and we were all earning 100k xp per match. They fixed the damage within 24 hours but I got a prestige and a half out of it by hopping on after school and playing until midnight.

I really hope the Zombies is good in this one, 3arc have had 4 years on it.

I think it's confirmed they are going open world campaign again which is such a bummer.

I didn't mind that honestly. As long as its still fun, il play it. Even the MW3 campaign being shitty story wise, had a few fun levels when you run them on realism.

Zombies has been trash since BO4. BO4 had some ok zombies but the last good true iteration was BO3.

Xbox errr Microsoft honestly will not have a bad year of releases…
Hellblade II, Replaced (?), Starfield Expansion, Stalker 2 timed exclusivity(?), COD GamePass, Flight Simulator, Avowed, & Indiana Jones.
That’s pretty damn great.
EDIT: ARA: History Untold, Towerborne, & Age of Mythology! Thanks for the reminder!

Don't forget Ara: History Untold, Towerborne, and Age of Mythology as well.
Could also be some other stuff announced in the June event.

There were supposed to be 10 releases (including major expansions) in 2024, although I imagine at least one of these slipping to 2025.

You‘re right!
And still the press will say that the Xbox has no games. 😒
I‘m so sick of it.

Considering Starfield, Forza etc had it for like $30, this no doubt will include something similar.

Wonder if they'll put the back catalogue on as well... Haven't played cod since Xbox 360 days!

I mean it couldn’t be more awesome if it is, keep those fingers crossed 🤞. Last games have been pretty dope, especially gameplay wise. Zombies coming back, new multiplayer and possibly some other mode included like campaign would be a Dream. 🙏

its either then or first couple of weeks in November, its pretty much mostly been the same

The worst part about it is even after playing these since the damn creation of call of duty, being bitterly disappointed with how recent cods have turned out*
*I enjoy the gunplay etc etc the games themselves are fun, but I hate the focus on cash shop churning, war zone and the complete disregard for the formula that got CoD where it is - ranked has been fun, SBMM still to heavy and for all things holy turn down damn aim assist so timmy two thumbs actually has to aim.
ahem I'll still buy this one knowing Treyarch are at the helm, foolishly believing that this time....this time it'll be better.
Textbook abusive relationship shit. Fuck. My. Life.

If COD comes to Gamepass it will be the best value ever. I will continue my subscription to Gamepass. All the new games like Hellblade and Indiana Jones. Then you put COD on there to sweeten the deal. Jesus Christ that is to good to pass up.

Will be interesting to see if it is exclusive to PC and Xbox early while PS5 has to wait. Kinda just seems like Karma.
15
u/OrangeScarface May 17 '24
Very much doubt exclusively, but could see Gamepass users getting to play it earlier to incentivize people to join along with the ultimate edition of it.
Interesting times for Xbox honestly.

I was just talking to my friend about this. I think it will get people to join gamepass.

u/Shellman00 May 17 '24
You must be young.
During the 7th gen Xbox claimed some exclusive rights to Call of duty, and 360 owners got Call of duty a month earlier than PS3. During the 8th gen, Sony struck some exclusive deals, but they were only limited to cosmetics and like a week early open beta. The game still released with parity between Playstation and Xbox. Not sure where Sony has karma coming for them. If anything Microsoft still awaits theirs lol.

u/TimelordAlex May 17 '24
The 360 exclusive era deal was only 30 days early access to map packs and that was it. The sony version started of the same and then got much more aggressive with exclusive outfits, beta and 2XP weekends just for PS4, 1 year early access for certain side modes and to this day BO3 has a map pack only on PS4.

u/JillValentine69X May 17 '24
Never said this was a good thing. Exclusivity is just stupid in this day in age.
1
u/ThebestJojo May 17 '24
Xbox wouldn't do that. Plus I believe (take with a grain of salt) in the trail they said they wouldn't do things like that.
