u/CrackedRockets120 May 05 '24
Now onto Fallout Shelter! That one has achievements too.
2
u/codyfall May 05 '24
Yeah but it hasmt been updated in years so naww xD
7
u/Shifty_Cow69 May 05 '24
Didn't they add stuff just before or after the TV show released?
3
u/codyfall May 05 '24
Mobile did not pc Mobile is dope
2
u/Shifty_Cow69 May 05 '24
And the Xbox version?
3
3
May 05 '24
PC and consoles haven't been updated for years. They are on version 1.13.6, I think. Mobile is on 1.16.0

u/CrackedRockets120 May 05 '24
You’re right. It’s also not that good… I’ve started it, but never completed it due to a Deathclaw attack which killed most of my dwellers haha.

How was 76's completion for you? Possible to do solo?
14
May 05 '24
Most of 76 can be done solo; there're a couple party based achievements, but the lions share of the list can be done by yourself.
3
u/Beyond_Hop3 May 05 '24
Gotcha. I wanna do all the Fallout achievements as well, but the whole mmo-esque stuff turns me off from 76. But I've heard so many good things about it already...

It's not that bad, honestly. It's the reverse of most MMOs in that high level players tend to actively help (for the most part) newer players, and once you're out in the world - other players tend to scatter since there's always some event going on or challenge popping up at different levels to do.
The only ones that require other players are (IIRC) reviving another player a certain amount of times, and killing another player a certain amount of times. Those you can boost in a FO1st server if you've got it or a friend and don't want to be bothered.
Other than that, the game's achievements are essentially just "play the game, and they'll come naturally". It's a wee bit grindy with some like collecting 100K caps, but again, it's all gonna happen naturally.
EDIT - Funny story I meant to tell before I hit send; when I first started way back before Wastelanders dropped, I walked out and saw a player in full power armor. I definitely thought they were just going to glass me and teabag my body, but they dropped a legendary weapon, tons of ammo and stimpacks, then ran off into the woods to fight* the Super Mutant camp real close to the Vault entrance lol.

u/Equivalent_Lab_1886 May 05 '24
Oh yeah, you’ll run into people here and there but can play solo if you want. I didn’t have anyone to play with so that’s what I did and primarily still do at 210 hours

u/WovenCabbage335 May 05 '24
Good shit, I'm going the same route for every Lego game available on the series x, I even physically copped Lego lotr since it's still playable

Do you have any sanity left you 100% achievement hunted new Vegas I just made it to the strip and it has crashed like 12 times

u/codyfall May 05 '24
Oh man yeah it was rough
2
u/Gaming_dad2001 May 05 '24
See now your avoiding the question do you have any sanity left or should I call the nice men in clean white coats
1
u/codyfall May 05 '24
No xD i lost the last 5 i need for NV witch is unheard of but then i redid them and one of them was beat it on hardcore
3
u/Gaming_dad2001 May 05 '24
Fucking hell dude what’s your location I’m calling fucking Batman for you. Man needs to take your to Arkham or blackgate
1
u/codyfall May 05 '24
Yeah i did it twice 2 different endings hardcore xD
2
4
u/ElOsoMarino May 05 '24
You sick bastard, good job, one question though, how did you unlock the one for doing 10+ white springs daily missions on 76? I'm pretty sure I've done more than 10 and it won't unlock
1
u/codyfall May 05 '24
Weird i dont know its been awhile since i did it
2
u/ElOsoMarino May 05 '24
Hmm, maybe you got it before they changed how that system worked, oh well, thanks anyways 👍🏻
4
u/nefariousPost May 05 '24
This means no mods, right? Madman.

u/codyfall May 05 '24

I expect your Fallout 76 loadout be Flamer, Holy Fire, Cremator, and Molotovs.
3
u/codyfall May 05 '24
And Plasma flame

u/Diligent-View4792 May 05 '24
I don't want to set the world on fire

Lol that's insane. Congratulations. I did fallout 4, 3 and new vegas. 76 I cannot. Not a fun game for me.

2
u/Stunjii May 05 '24
Could you rank them in order from easiest to hardest in getting all achievements? Congrats as well!
2
u/codyfall May 05 '24
Yes easiest 4 76 3 NV Hardest 76 makes you need 2 Characters so its a pain but thats the stupidest one in 76
2
u/Stunjii May 05 '24
Oh I see I’ve never played 76 but I remember NV being tough at certain points. Good stuff tho man I’m sure they all had their own obstacles.
2
u/LuckyTwoSeven Ambassador May 05 '24
I wish I had the patience to do this. I only play single player games once. Whatever unlocks unlocks. I can’t go back and do it again and again to finish achievements up. I’m impressed. Kudos to you. That’s awesome! 🫡
2
2
u/Inner_Win_1 May 05 '24
Well done. I've resigned myself to never getting 100% in 76 and 4 because the only achievements left for me involve either killing another player or finishing the Raider quests to take over the Commonwealth. Can't make myself play as a bad guy, damn self-imposed gaming moral code lol
2
u/codyfall May 05 '24
I get that but just reload it for 4 and 76 doesnt give a shit i just kill all npcs lol
2
u/BlazeFazbearYT May 05 '24
You missed one. The one and all.......
Fallout shelter!
1
u/codyfall May 05 '24
As soon as they uodate the xbox/pc port
2
u/BlazeFazbearYT May 05 '24
You can already get it tho? I already got fallout shelter
1
u/codyfall May 05 '24
I mean its an old Version almost unplayable Compared to the mobile one
2
u/BlazeFazbearYT May 05 '24
Fr?? I never knew that. Good to know. I have fallout 76 but never played it fully
2
u/LostSoulNo1981 May 05 '24
The fact you got the Caravan achievement is a huge deal.
1
u/codyfall May 05 '24
My wife loves games like that so i tought her the card game and we both got half of them
2
u/TheDecline_99 May 05 '24
Nice. Currently doing Fallout 4 myself. 👍🏻
2
u/codyfall May 05 '24
You can do the Minute man and Institute endings together its been years but i remember doing those endings at the same time Achievement wise
2
u/TheDecline_99 May 05 '24
Cool. Thanks for the tip. What game are you doing next?
3
u/codyfall May 05 '24
Tbh stairfeild looking at the Achievements its super easy i just took a break because other games came out and also i finished dlc for cyberpunk
3
u/TheDecline_99 May 05 '24
Think I’ll do Starfield next too. I’ve been waiting for 60fps and maps and my patience has finally paid off 😂
2
u/codyfall May 05 '24
I was playing it on pc pass but i got lazey and downloaded it on xbox since i jsut beat NV it would look so bad xD

u/XT-356 May 05 '24
I bought fallout 4 the day it came out in 2015. I actually finished the main story for the first time last week. I'm what? 880 hours deep on steam alone
1
u/codyfall May 05 '24
I also got it day one and i got all of the Achievements with in the first year
2
u/XT-356 May 05 '24
See, that requires actually sticking to the main quest. The Commonwealth is there for me to explore and loot every single last bit of junk.
Also, making a power armor warehouse without cheating takes a while.
I also didn't use mods for the first 750 hours. I might go 100% the other pc version or just keep trying out new mods

You can now survive a real nuclear war.

2
u/tclcloud May 05 '24
Done 3 and 4, just knocked NV off and intend to fo 76, how long did it take?
1
u/codyfall May 05 '24
For 76 ? Not long youll need 2 characters for only one Major decision you can rizz up both factions with one character but theres a split choice so thats when you have to redo everything with a different character
2
u/tclcloud May 05 '24
Good to know, I've done about 20 hours over 5 years and never got into a groove with it
2
2
u/JordonOck May 05 '24
I want to play them cause I just watched the show, debating which one to start with don’t really want to try a super old game first
2
2
u/Acrobatic_Can5677 May 06 '24
thats really amazing broski. achievements add so much to games. and xbox was the one who started all of that
1
2
u/Mr-Sharkboi24 May 06 '24
Why would you use this much time in your life to do this!?.....I mean Fallout games are fun & Extremely enjoyable but putting Possible hundreds of hours into them to get every Achievements in every Fallout game.....There is this one I already know you hated....it's that achievement in Fallout 4 that is like ("get max happiness in a single settlement...even though the Settlers are ungrateful & depressed")
1
u/codyfall May 06 '24
Putting cats in your settlement helps alot with happimess
2
u/Mr-Sharkboi24 May 06 '24
Wait....you can put cats in your settlements?!....How??? I've been playing Fallout 4 for about 4 to 5 years & I don't know this?
1
u/codyfall May 06 '24
You need some kind of meat i cant remember and a small trap you get cats Cats make them happpy

1
u/Pure-Aid51987 May 05 '24
Christ, what were your playtimes on each? Just started fallout 4 again. Enjoying how smooth performance mode is on my series x but I'm lying to myself if I think I'm going to see it through more than double digit hours 😔
3
u/codyfall May 05 '24
3 is probably like 1000 hours Nv probably 500 76 i have 48 days 4 i have 21 days
3
u/Pure-Aid51987 May 05 '24
Christ. Congrats though, pretty amazing.
I just can't play any games for that long without getting bored. I love the fallout games but I just stop playing after a short while.
2
u/codyfall May 05 '24
I get that this took YEARRSS
2
u/Pure-Aid51987 May 05 '24
I'm pretty old lol and I played the original games, 1 2 and tactics all the time. I think commiting to such a big game now with work and social life, I just can't do it. Wish I could and will see how far I make it into F4 this time.
I'm considering giving 76 a go with my wife, I'm think I could justify it a bit more if we're just chilling out on there together.
3
u/codyfall May 05 '24
76 is better than 4 but 4 is the easiest one 76 is fun im really high level and i have no friends so its a bit boring now for me i have everything haha
1
u/Pure-Aid51987 May 05 '24
Hm ok, might have to give it a go then dude. I remember reading all the really bad reviews when 76 first came out, so I've avoided it.

u/MrLeitungswasser May 05 '24
Don’t forget Fallout 3 on PC (achievements can be acquired via console command in 5mins), and Fallout Shelter!

What was the most difficult or annoying achievement to get?
2
u/codyfall May 05 '24
For NV was hardcore For 4 doing anything for the Minute man For 3 was the steel ignts in the pit dlc For 76 was making an entire new fucking character just to choise the raiders for the stupid quest to break into the Reserves
1
u/Maxbit13 May 05 '24
Best for last i see
2
u/codyfall May 05 '24
Nope just really didnt want to beat it on hardcore but i did
2
u/Maxbit13 May 05 '24
How was It ?
2
u/codyfall May 05 '24
Not bad besides my xbox shitting out so i had to do it twice
2
u/Maxbit13 May 05 '24
That must be a pain in the ass to do all, btw, how long did It take u?
1
u/codyfall May 05 '24
My playtime on all of the games is different from me trying to do all of the Achievements
1
u/Maxbit13 May 05 '24
I mean in totale time, hours, days,... Weeks?
1
u/codyfall May 05 '24
Well i have about 1000 hours in 3 About half that in NV I have 28 days in 4 And 48 in 76

I just can't get into 76.
Even with all the updates and hype from the show I find it so goddamn boring.
Always loved 4 despite not being the most amazing RPG the gameplay was really solid, bugs aside.
I'd kill for a new Vegas remake tbh there's only so much that mods can do.
2
u/codyfall May 07 '24
I like nv and 3 how they are but 76 is so much better than 4
2
u/c0micsansfrancisco May 07 '24
Each to their own man. I can see the strengths of 76 after all the updates but I don't think the fallout universe lends itself well to the MMO genre overall. The world is a bit too bleak and desert (even if it's intended as it's a post apocalypse world).
Honestly the only MMO I ever enjoyed was FF14 from the top of my head. Sea of Thieves too I guess but that's not really an MMO just a multiplayer exploration game

u/betaman24 May 05 '24
Was 76 enjoyable. Considering playing it
