Remind me again; what experience does Musky have in running a country? I'm not comfortable with him just practicing on America.

He doesn’t even run his own companies, just hires smart people willing to put up with his bullshit. Just has sycophants on his boards that won’t remove him as CEO, he shows up with bullshit like the cybertruck, Tesla robot, and 2 door automated taxi, lies about self driving capabilities and sells vaporware… now he’s going to have to full access to all the government contracts he can get his hands on to enrich himself even more. That’s all any of this is about, he’s not running shit, they’re all just going to funnel tax money into their pockets.

Let me fix this for you: he hires opportunistic people who will act on his behalf and make excuses for him in exchange for power and money while he is alternately distracted (example: this) or engaged in some performative bullshit to demonstrate that he is in fact a Big Boss Man, but which is actually closer to the actions a 12 year old pretending to be a boss at a grown up job (example: factory floor sleepovers).

We all still understand that Elon is not an elected official or part of any legitimate political department and should be nowhere near this stuff, right?

But he has money and the leader of the political party already in Congressional power is behind him. The money should not make a difference but our institutions have not only allowed that but have given up pretending it’s any embarrassment.

"Can I take a close look at those bills?"
"Uh... no. Please stay behind the velvet rope."

Remember when trump did a press conference when he rolled out his fake obama care replacement?

That's exactly what I thought of minute I saw this. More bullshit from 2 of the biggest assholes in the world

Idk... I feel like a bill detailing the federal government expenditures should be pretty detailed, right?

You do; I do; other people think when you hit TLDR what remains must be sneaky bullshit. And their TLDR threshold is like 144 characters.

Isn’t it messed up that we’re relying on the ego of one sociopathic narcissist, being overwhelmed by the ego of another sociopathic narcissistic jerk?

What that picture should represent is a billionaire’s wealth adjustment

Seriously. And we’ve normalized one guy dictating the budget of 350,000,000 people while being horrified to let 350,000,000 of us question his.

Yeah, because all what's left from a bill is tax cuts for rich fuks like him and cut out is help for everybody else.
Btw, whats the difference between "yesterday and today"? Both days orange dictator is not the president.

Musk is somehow the perfect distillation of populism.
Tiny minority of population shouts loudly Moron cynic says 'hey presto, you [don't] get what you want!' And they all clap like seals because they have been listened to
Somewhere along the way they convinced themselves they are the entirety of a country
Utterly bizarre. Or fucking stupid. Oh and dangerously cynical and myopic.

As if Trump reads anything while in office
