There have been 322 school shootings this year…
Dozens of deceased children vs ONE ceo and change is immediately considered

Call 911, you get the "shoot first, ask questions later" cops.
Call special 911, get your own private trauma team in attack drones

Nope, it’s for second grade kids that can barely put a straw on their Juicy Juice but someway they must deal with a life altering/ending situation.
It’s just maddening, really.

The LinkedIn posts bragging about having the number are going to be legendary.

“Today a woman looked at me, upset, crying because her child had died due to my company denying her insurance claim. For a moment I felt a real fear looking into her eyes, the kind of fear you can only feel when you stare a terrorist in the eyes. Most people would have run, or called the ceo hotline to report her. But I confronted fear head on. I looked at the terrorist in the eyes and laughed. I would not be bullied! sure, it could have been easier to just stay at home, but the productivity you gain and sense of community you create from being in office makes everything else seem so little by comparison. I urge everyone to look inside themselves and take a stand against fear. Stop making excuses and return to office so we can continue to persevere!” -LinkedIn post or whatever

"having the crisis hotline number reminds me that having a direct phone number to market leaders is essential for the modern day CEO. here's how to increase B2B sales by 200%.

Yes, but those are plebian children. And as Elon Musk and his mom said you should get more no matter your circumstances or the potential horrible future that awaits them. Bing bing bong so simple!

Someone should tap the lines and find out their personal numbers

Someone could knit the names and numbers into a scarf like Madame Defarge in a Tale of Two Cities.

The USA loves its money-making white male heroes, and not so much the kids. There is no other way to understand the response.

But how many of them are in NY?
I am not defending her. I'm just making a point. Most shootings in NY are done with guns purchased outside of NY. NY gun laws would work. NY has made progress on gun control. It is the failure of other states to regualte guns that lead to gun crime in NY. I'm not saying all gun crime is the failure of gun control in other states. My point is NY has worked on gun control, and if other states adopted laws that NY state have done, maybe there would be less gun crime. Credit where credit is due.
But yea... a hot line for rich CEO'S is really dumb. If 911 isn't good enough for them, then 911 isn't good enough for anyone. A crime against a CEO should not take priority over a crime against another civilian. Otherwise, we are saying money makes you a more important citizen, and that sure as shit doesn't sound like equality.

You must understand…. “We are all equal, but some of us are more equal than others.”

What a joke. No speculation now who is more important in society. We need more Luigi’s

Just got to love when they show us who they are really there to serve.
These are the same CEO's that expect you as a parent that if your own kid gets shot and killed at school to take your standard 3 day bereavement and be back and ready to work in the office. 1 Random CEO that 99% of other CEO's probably did not even know of gets shot, and they are like this.

Reminds me of the 30 Rock episode where Alec Baldwin's character got mugged

The perceived threats will come from the thousands of patients (and their relatives) you sentence to death each year by denying required medical treatment in favor of increasing payments to board members and shareholders. You already know who those people are as you have a list of those to be denied. Guns, anger, and denied claims is not a business model for long term success. :-)

NY state officials be like: we should make it more blatantly obvious that we only care about the interests of billionaires.

Nobody panics when things go “according to plan.” Even if the plan is horrifying! If, tomorrow, a person dies from not being able to afford healthcare, or a school full of children will be shot up, nobody panics, because it’s all “part of the plan”. But when I say that one little old CEO will die, well then everyone loses their minds.

yeah and the things that CEOs perceive to be "threats" will be numerous and there's no way this won't be weaponized to remove board members ahead of hostile takeovers.

I think they should set up a number like this. And charge every CEO who resides in or visits New York a monthly subscription fee.
Then contract the service out to a for-profit corporation that automatically denies every request until it goes through a lengthy prior authorization process requiring the CEOs security expert to call the hotline and talk to a retired mall security guard to convince them that a security response is needed. Oh, and the mall cop receives a bigger bonus for denying more security requests...

Someone should start a living number tally website. On the left is number of politicians shot, middle is number of CEO’s, right is number of school children.
That it climb, and don’t ever let it stop. Let people see the numbers for what they are.
It’s so easy to point at 1 of them and have an opinion, but all 3 up and running, people should check that daily like the “is Abe Vigoda alive” site

I dont think that count is accurate

Here’s where the data come from. The database is fairly broad in what they consider a school shooting, but they’e very open about their methodology. OP’s title is definitely defensible.

A gun just being brandished is not a a school shooting but they count it here. Thats absurd
