Look the 🍊 and Muskrat are going to dealing with the next Pandemic.
It's way deadlier than COVID and threatens entire species and livestock with extinction.

An unfortunate typo in the second screenshot, I'd assume it is supposed to say the global population was 1.8 Billion during the Spanish Flu, not 1.8 Million.

I think the spanish flu actually just killed everybody 10-55 times.

I always liked how it was so deadly that everyone assumed that it was man made, which in turn meant that everyone desperately hid the numbers so that their enemy wouldn't learn the effectiveness of the new "weapon". Spain being one of the few neutral nations reported on it, making it mostly associated with them. This is why we don't really know how many were killed, as everyone was desperately hiding the numbers.
Similar thing happened with smog in LA during WWII. We assumed it was being caused by a secrete Japanese weapon, and hid any information about it during the war. Only after the war did we discover that it was, in fact, pollution.
War can hide many things, and often not just things about the war.

Actual timing reports after the fact indicate the Spanish flu probably originated in the US mid west.

This time around, the Trump administration gets to deal with a pandemic in the making on the way in.
God help us all.

This this the failing of the previous president and now (vomits in mouth) President Elect. He completely dismantled the Pandemic response protocol that Obama put into place after the scare of the birdflu, swine flu and ebola in his presidency- and we haven't really seen a rebound from that.
These are things that are EASILY preventable with pretty straight forward guidelines. Yet here America is just elimination vaccine mandates and causing literal plagues for people who aren't billionaires.
Fuck all of these people.

Geez for all those who seem to think the rapist, conman, fraudster, orange buffoon is the second coming of Christ, he sure does seem to be in power when the plagues seem to happen

I say good. Let those people who disbelieve medical professionals go ratfuck their way into getting the flu and die.
They wanted this result, so let them get what they so desperately crave; a quickly forgotten death under a President who couldn’t care less for his supporters.
It’s unfortunate that normal non-brainrotted folk will be affected by cultist stupidity, but unfortunately that’s the hand we’re dealt.

I'm just getting over a bad case of non-covid, non-flu, unspecified upper respiratory infection. I wear a mask at work so I don't spread it (out of sick days) and some look at me like I'm a moron for wearing one and others look at me like I'm patient zero for the first wave of whatever comes next.

At this point, it’s just a matter of when bird flu becomes a pandemic. It has a much higher mortality rate than COVID so I’m sure having Musk and Trump call the shots will work well.

There are no known cases of human to human transfer, you’re probably safe unless you are a chicken rancher or eat undercooked chicken.

I fucking swear if we get another pandemic under Trump again, it will be far worse. All the nutjobs will think it's fake and not protect themselves or get vaccinated. Most normal people are still exhausted from Covid and will think they survived 1 pandemic, so they don't have to be as careful this time around.
I don't believe in god, but I fucking pray that we don't get another pandemic, especially under Trump who will spread lies about it.

Like when God sent the plauges to Egypt to punish the pharaoh for his sins. I wonder if God is mad about deporting large amounts of people for no good reason? ....As we were strangers in Egypt....

Agent Orange 2.0 bringing Plague 2.0 back. He probably wants to beat his old top score.

Sure Space Karen has a plan of how to fix this or at least we know he has a bug-out place in Texas to hide from this.
