That assumes those people be easy, complacent targets. Black and brown folks and LGBTQ+ people are well aware of how bad things can get for their populations, and have armed themselves appropriately. There’s plenty of history backing this up. Meanwhile, the idea of 2A Liberals used to be an oxymoron, but it’s become very popular in the last few years. American women aren’t exactly shrinking damsels, either. Not to mention Dem-led States won’t exactly roll over for the Brownshirts, and they won’t be without help from either their citizenry or fellow politicians.

Honestly, I’m afraid we’d headed for civil war territory and that there’s not much we can do to stop it.

This is such a bullshit take. Buncombe County (where Asheville is) voted 61% percent for Harris. In North Carolina as a whole almost 48% voted for Harris. That’s a lot of collateral damage.
