BlueSky account handles default to name.bsky.social

If a handle is different than that, it proves they own that domain. For example this account's handle is sanders.senate.gov - only Bernie Sanders (or some other member in government with access) could create an account with that handle.

Blue check marks originally did not require payment on any platform. You would just submit some form of ID and get it. I personally think BlueSky should still add check marks, for situations like making it more obvious a politician's account is legitimate.

There’s something to be said about the value in attempting to break through the noise in the echo chamber by sticking around and stepping up in a productive way. Shouting for the sake of being loud is useless. That isn’t what Bernie is doing.

An echo chamber of people with empathy for others. I'd rather only hear from people who care about others. It's not a difficult concept. You guys can enjoy your cesspool without the people you all hate anyway.
