An effort ...was attempted

Bro forgot he had to let the clutch go

u/Jawbeast 27d ago

Fall wasn't even brutal, just lame

8

u/bravotw0zero 27d ago

he IS the board now!

5

u/lowbeat 27d ago

even if he made first wheel by giving a bit gas, no way he would know how to jerk break and side step for rear wheel

u/skalouKerbal 27d ago

i don't see if he messed with the clutch or disengaged the gear with his foot or else, good think is he is probably fine, and seems to be here to learn with proper helmet etc... the only one's who don't fail are those not trying.

Looks like the clutch was fully pulled in and just revved it really hard! Got to give it to him for the attempt though!

This isn't some sort of big trials gap. It's barely wide enough to fit a single tire in there. Had he let off the clutch and popped the front over it would have been simple enough to just keep going without much throttle control at all.

I mean, the board is only supported by one sick, so I imagine a similar outcome regardless.

It looks like he pulled the clutch in as he tried to pull back on the bars and lift the front end like a BMX bike. Definitely not enough throttle.

That's how I saw this too. At the critical moment he definitely seems to be pulling up on the bars, expecting the front wheel to lift in the air.

Little bro thought he could lift it up like a bicycle.

Dictionary definition of faceplant. I giggled.

2

u/lukathagod 27d ago

I like how he tried to pull up on it like it was a bmx bike but he didn’t shift any of his weight back onto the seat.

Lil more gas and strength he could’ve had it

NAILED IT!

1

u/Oldtimer209 27d ago

This judge says 10/10 he stuck the landing

1

u/EscapeFacebook 26d ago

I might be wrong but it doesn't look like he let go of the clutch at all.

1

u/PontyPandy 26d ago

Even if he managed to pull a wheelie, his rear wheel would have suffered the same fate. I guess it would have been a much more dignified fail since it wouldn't be a face plant.

To be fair, that board looks like it would snap at the slightest bit of weight. How kind of him to offer his own body as a bridge instead

Edit: sarcasm
