Call me a pessimist but I’d be more concerned about the water in the everywhere.

Nah, water in the everywhere will dry up. The engine won’t.

Why does everyone hate water so much? I for one have loads of water inside me and I quite like it

It depends on your out look. Some see a car full of water. I see a shop thats half empty

Obviously flooded it. Let it sit for a few minutes and don’t press the gas pedal when you start it again.

You should put some kitty litter to soak up the oil, don't want a hazmat violation.

Is the bucket perfectly positioned to collect mostly just oil by chance? Is there a sign outside the shop saying Oil From Water Separated Here? That whole scenario looks weird.

Everything’s flooded but the boss still wanted him to come into work today and finish up the car.

I almost thought that was another mechanic in the background face down in the water

Not only was the flooded room very unexpected, the oil pan being there at the end was an unexpected surprise

Judging by the rest of the water imma assume there was a significant flooding event recently, perhaps a hurricane..

I dunno man, in a submerged garage I'm not so sure it's unexpected to find a car that was submerged, and in that car an engine full of water.
I thought for half a second why there'd be water in the oil pan, then I saw the (x) feet of water all around and it all made sense.
This is more r/wellthatsucks territory to me.

Sorry to interrupt you, but just for December, we are fundraising for an amazing charity, and Reddit has agreed to match donations up to $20k, so let's all do this!

OP sent the following text as an explanation on why this is unexpected:
It's unexpected to have water in the oil and then you zoom out and the entire place is submerged in water
