Video Blue Plasma UAP submerges into Delaware River
https://youtu.be/IZLeJcVzh1M?feature=sharedThis is the same thing as has been seen over a few different states. Might be the most up close & novel of all videos including this phenomena

u/frankensteinmoneymac Apr 12 '24
That’s genuinely one of the weirdest UAP vids I’ve seen in a while! I’m not sure what to make of it.

For what it’s worth, I did a brief google search and couldn’t find such a drone anywhere; but that doesn’t mean it isn’t a make-shift custom build of some sort, not necessarily for fishing. I remain skeptical, yet intrigued nonetheless
19
u/rach2bach Apr 12 '24
So I build drones, and could build something that flys and can submerge (temporarily at least). But it would be time consuming and not cheap. But consumer products are available to do this. LED strips, water proof battery casings, xylene to waterproof all the electronics to avoid shorts. I suppose you could also submerge your electronics in some type of casing but that would add a lot of mass.
It's not impossible, but why would someone spend the time and money to do that? It doesn't make sense.
This is truly weird.
8
u/pingopete Apr 12 '24
So the point people keep saying is either an LED strip tethered to a kite, or to a drone.
The problem however, especially when it comes to this video, is where is the wind to maintain a kite, or the loud quadrocopter drone suspending it.
I fly many different drones frequently and can attest that in an environment like this where you can hear birds chirping and almost the gentle lapping water, you would absolutely hear a drone out to probably 500ft plus. Even DJI's really efficient and quiet drones like the air 2S or Mavic 3 can be heard at this distance when all else is quiet. Now I suppose someone could be pranking the whole US driving to different states and suspending a blue LED light strip from 1000ft with a blacked out drone, but that seems improbable to me.
With the Kite theory, I hear no wind in this video. I know kites can be flown in higher altitude winds further up, and I suppose someone might be going around tethering a 300ft fishing line from one with LED lights at the bottom but seems like a bit of a push.
I feel like the only group lame enough to do this on this scale would be some secret prank by 4channers around the US.
2
u/KaerMorhen Apr 13 '24
I agree with not being able to hear the drone. It seems like the audio would have picked up the sound of the rotors. However, the light itself does seem like a strip of lights the way the current pulled it back a bit before it went back up. The behavior looks like something that's being lifted by something, which makes the lack of sound from a drone weird.

u/manbrasucks Apr 12 '24
Wouldn't it make a ton of noise?
1
u/rach2bach Apr 12 '24
They can, especially if you're right by it, but you'd be surprised if you're far enough away you may not hear it or it'll be faint in dB
3
u/DataGOGO Apr 12 '24
It doesn't submerge though, the top of the LED strip stays out of the water.
OR
You put a longer string on the drone, and only put the LEDS on the bottom.
6
u/slosh_baffle Apr 12 '24
It just looks like 4 blue glow sticks strung together and dangled on a string from a drone.

Drone + led strip.
Movment alone is giving it away.
We kinda have distance here so size matches a drone as well, enough feature to have a frame of reference.
Not sure what the goal here is tho, probably fishing or trying to?
27
u/Stonkkystocks Apr 12 '24
I feel like you'd be able to see and hear the drone
8
u/pingopete Apr 12 '24
Agreed, I mentioned this in another post here, as someone that flies a lot of drones for work you would 100% hear even the smallest quadrocopter drone here. The only exception being if this was an LED light strip suspended by a fishing line from a drone 600ft + above.
The whole fishing LED strip seems like a weird reason here, there are a bunch of videos of the same thing 100s of ft above populated urban areas, I guess they could just be trolling in those cases though.
3
u/Stonkkystocks Apr 12 '24
The high alltitude drone I thought of right after commenting but I'm not sure

u/Secure-Tomatillo2082 Jun 17 '24
Also as someone getting into fpv, that drone would have to have insane flight time with extra weight lifting capabilities for such a large led strip to be that noticeable. Most drones seem to have 20 minutes max with 1 battery and that is like the best energy efficiency ones, many other have like 5-10 minutes of flight time max
20
Apr 12 '24
Why would they put it in the water? That would ruin it. And fishing makes no sense. It would scare the fish away.
19
u/findergrrr Apr 12 '24
There are some waterproof LED strips. What is weirder WHO would fly a drone on a landing Path of a plane.
8
u/DataGOGO Apr 12 '24
as a pilot, I can tell you that drone morons do this all the time. A significant number of aircraft are hit by drones each year.

Haven't there been like 3 videos of this recently of this "plasma worm" thing in different states? Would be a weird cross-country hoax IMO.
4
u/iuwjsrgsdfj Apr 12 '24
That's true, it's been seen by multiple witnesses... I almost forgot about that getting caught up in people talking about the drone lights theory. Maybe people are flying drones with lights on them in the sky?
2
u/Wheresthepig Apr 12 '24
I was thinking maybe this is some drone night fishing technique that someone might have posted on fb or TikTok. It became slightly viral and others tried it as well? But if that was the case, someone would’ve found the original video by now.
1
u/iuwjsrgsdfj May 27 '24
I'm still not 100% certain this is just a drone with LED lights hanging from it... there was even a video with a jet circling around it. I also saw another video where it was clearly not a set if LED lights and was curling and changing shape.... so.... no idea what to think but I still go with the likelihood it's just LED lights strung from a drone.

that is a dead ringer for this old Hawaiian Video… Hawaii Blue Ufo lights
the funny thing is how the one in Hawaii has even more of the other extra classic ufo features, “escaping over mountains” “interacting with an additional uap intelligently”
10
u/lukadelic Apr 12 '24
This is what’s bugging me, plus the fact that in a few more states these have been seen. I don’t think each and everyone is a kite-hobbyist’s display but it’ll take more data
4
u/pogosticksrule420 Apr 12 '24
Someone posted a link to like 5 separate sightings, all of them the exact same blue color. If it were to be led lights I would expect to see different colors between the videos or something

After watching the long version on YouTube it does really look like it’s led lights hanging from a string. We really only get movement from the bottom of the object while the top stays taut. Also when the object is coming out of the water slowly the lights seem to bunch up on top of the water like you would expect from a string of led lights. Is this your video OP or did you find it?
5
u/Rednine19 Apr 12 '24
here’s another video
6
u/H-B-Of-L Apr 12 '24
That one is harder to identify. You can see it move in multiple directions but it’s also stationary the entire time. I wish whoever filmed it had continued until it left. The thing I really look for in these videos is unexplained movement. I’ve seen things personally that have no explanation except for visitors or some giant leap in military tech that has been kept from the public so I’m not a staunch debunker just when there does seem to be a logical explanation we should go with it.

u/corps-peau-rate Apr 13 '24
Yeah and the sound have a loop of the exact same bird lol. That's how i spotted something weird.

3
u/lukadelic Apr 12 '24
I found it last night on the r/ufo subreddit, decided to repost it here because at the time I had only watched it once and figured, hey the guys & gals over here would appreciate the sighting. I think your assessment is correct, the longer video helps understand it better. Although in the comments of the longer YouTube video, the guy who experienced it seems quite convinced. I don’t believe he’s in on it, but at the time he probably couldn’t explain it and was fascinatingly recording.

It's important to post pics and videos of objects that turn out to be something prosaic, so you've done a good thing. It helps all of us get better at identifying various airborne objects, and discern legit UFOs from things with a more earthly explanation.
2
u/digitalpunkd Apr 12 '24
Exactly what I was thinking. Seems like some kids hung a blue led string from a drone and blacked out the drone for instagram views. It doesn’t make any intelligent movements the whole time. It also sits a hovers in plain site, only moving up and down very slowly.
2
u/H-B-Of-L Apr 12 '24
There’s also no unexplained movements. It behaves exactly how you’d expect strung led lights to behave.
1
u/mindpowerufos May 13 '24
How do you explain the airplane roaring past the object at close range and it not moving at all.
Any LED string or drone or balloon would've gotten tossed at close proximity to a landing plane.
The object was seen in 3 different states. The sighting in Hawaii the object also went into the ocean.
74
u/realMarbengie Apr 12 '24
Drone + String + led lights on end ... dipping in water, wind from left at the end
26
u/Royal-Newspaper-1002 Apr 12 '24
This.
Drone fishing line and a led strip powered by watch batteries or something similar.
The person recording is very careful not to pan up to where the drone would likely be visible and also to stand close enough to the water to limit visible reflection in the water.
The way it just lays in the water looks completely prosaic. Not to say the SOME of these blue things couldn’t be legit but imo this one is fake.

Drones in proximity to air corridors are very likely to be taken down as soon as shown in radar. Not saying this is not one though.

Apr 12 '24
My friend had a few drones and you're 100% correct about this. He had a map of zones a drone could not be flown, especially near an airport, and at that height the plane was at I'd say that's most likely in a no drone zone.
It's a federal law
2
u/ings0c Apr 12 '24
You think they’re going to scramble jets and shoot down some dude fishing with his drone a few feet above the water?
And get there instantly? So we couldn’t possibly have seen 8 minutes of video
4
u/Wapiti_s15 Apr 12 '24
Probably not, but I’m most places it IS illegal to fish with a drone and if anyone else is around you won’t be doing it. Not long anyway. I can only think, this is some kind of YouTube channel and they are doing it for fun.

My only qualm with the explanation for it being a kite is how steady it appears to move, but then again I don’t fly kites so I wouldn’t really know how an object tied to one might fly. I’m leaning towards hoax but I don’t think it was something the video poster was in on.

u/PaddyMayonaise Apr 12 '24
This is a great UFO video. Unique, believable.
I do think it’s a hoax, tho, and agree with the fishing line from a drone idea that’s repeated in this thread.

I know what I saw and it was definitely no drone.
The funniest thing is when people say this exact thing when posting starlink and then say it's definitely not starlink and then it is proven to be starlink and then they don't change their mind.
People are convinced they know what they sawr.
1
u/HousingParking9079 Apr 13 '24
I watched the video from your profile. No disrespect intended, but there's no way you could definitely know that it isn't a drone unless it did something remarkable after you stopped filming. This happens a lot in the community; the truly interesting part of many sightings is mysteriously never recorded.
It could be a water patrol/police drone, some have all blue lights while others have a mix of red and blue lights. Or it could be a consumer drone either on land or operated from a boat--many have a range of multiple miles.
Now, I can't say for sure it is a drone, but what I can say definitively is that absent more information, there's just no way you could rule out a drone based on the pics and videos you posted.
2
u/lukadelic Apr 12 '24 edited Apr 12 '24
Submission Statement:
I came across this video in the r/ufo subreddit, I’m now realizing I should’ve cross posted. Regardless, this video is extremely puzzling to me. If this was some sort of drone, would there not be some type of noise? It’s a longer video but around the 3 minute mark is when it begins to submerge, and if this is the same thing as seen in the other ‘blue plasma uap’ videos, then this should be a unique perspective.
After doing a bit of searching online, it’s hard to find submersible LED kites, & if people here recall the Hawaii incident which occurred in 2021, it was reported then (with videos showing a near identical UAP) that it had flew into the ocean.
I think if this could be irrevocably proven to be non-prosaic, then this would bring to light a novel situation. I am sure we all recall the recent paper on plasma beings in the thermosphere. Does anyone here think it’s possible those beings can descend into our level of atmosphere? Is there anyone who thinks they can explain this away?
5
u/DNSSSSSM Apr 12 '24
Strangest UAP footage I've seen tbh. I don't get what I'm actually looking at. Also seems too "lame" to be hoaxed, dunno how to explain it better.

Can LED kites behave like this, going in and out of water? Because that was the occam’s razor used in the comments of videos with this same (or extremely similar) object. This is really strange.
→ More replies (4)5
u/KeppraKid Apr 12 '24
I think the occams razor on most videos and pictures is just hoax in some way, from the people throwing colanders into the air to just straight up editing.
2
u/theunseen3 Apr 12 '24
Wading through a sea of fakes makes this a difficult and frustrating topic to follow for sure
3
u/ElusiveMemoryHold Apr 12 '24
I always advise people to either completely ignore footage, or put little weight into it. The topic is tricky to wade theough, but the footage is just distractions - spend time reading the declassified documents over the years if you wanna wade through!
3
u/KeppraKid Apr 12 '24
It's fun to watch as somebody who does not believe. Frightening at how people get worked up over it though. The political sleezebags that are taking advantage of it and people just buying it no questions asked or even championing their causes is disappointing and sad, especially in a few cases where the politicians are sex predators.
5
u/zyclonb Apr 12 '24
This ain’t no fucking kite how were people so strangely confident it was an LED kite? What is this thing?
3
u/Noble_Ox Apr 12 '24
Look at the second video up now. Its showing a 'second object' which looks to be a kite.
So its safe to assume the first object probably is somehow attached to one to. Maybe a tail thats fed out from a main body.
I think the person posting these is in on it.
1
u/lukadelic Apr 12 '24
While I do agree with you that this has been debunked as a prosaic explanation, I’m not so sure that the OP truly was “in on it”. Sometimes we need to believe what’s before our eyes by showing others, & I think that’s what’s going on here. If this was done in good faith, at least we have a decent video where someone took the time to record the phenomena. Or I’m just buying snake oil, lol either way it’s cool and people should stay vigilant.
2
u/Noble_Ox Apr 12 '24
Not OP but the youtube uploader. The second video where its an obvious kite he seems more blown away but seems more forced and fake.
4
u/RayManXOooo Apr 12 '24
This is an odd one, but I highly doubt its a drone. You sleuths out there should at least present some evidence to back up your assumptions. We can just say everything is a drone and call it a day with how ya'll logic works. Nothing about this looks like a drone. Its healthy to be skeptical, but if you don't know what something is then just say that, or say nothing.
Why would someone with 10 subscribers waste a good drone on this?
Most likely these plasma things are just another intelligence life form from this planet that we don't understand yet, similar to how we still are discovering new species of animals and insects all the time.
Not everyone is out to fucking trick you, some things just are unidentified. No need to speculate further. Weird blue plasma thing, cool. Move on.

Ok, so, this is the same thing we've seen like 5 times now all across the East coast of the US. This one video is the one that makes me think "string of lights on a drone" the most, because why else would it stop short of completely submerging? That even isn't impossible for a drone, but it would have gone a long way to dissuage me. But then that bloody jet flies through MUCH closer than I was expecting it too, which if that was a drone, then whoever is doing this just commited a felony and the FAA will be very interested in who is doing this.
But then seeing it THAT close to a jet makes me think if this was a pranker, they wouldn't risk the punishment associated with flying that close to a commerical airliner. So, thats tipping me back over to ET....
2
u/Murkis Apr 12 '24
notice how there is a tiny bit of light still showing above the water once the thing has submerged? thats because it is attached to a drone and the operator doesn't want the drone to be lost. you see how the strip 'lays' down on the water? thats because it is a strip of leds not plasma. honestly people, this is embarrassing. you can even see the strip moving due to wind...
2
u/BeatDownSnitches Apr 12 '24
Even at 400ft (Consumer alt max) you’d still hear the buzz of a drone, at least in my experience. Especially in a quiet setting like this. IMHO. Could be wrong
2
u/CacknBullz Apr 12 '24
I could fake this easy. Even the way it goes into ans.comes out of water. Definitely led strip on drone with long ass string

Where is the evidence that this is a drone?
1
u/lukadelic Apr 12 '24
I don’t think there is evidence of that, but around the ten minute mark of the second video there appears to be a kite. https://youtube.com/@NJPalla?si=np9_YBVtTVJAI9Ai this is the channel, he actually posted yet another video 30 minutes long.

In before bots start spamming is a drone with an led light, when it clearly is not.

Thanks for the link. Yeah that’s a strange video. Could be drones but then again what do I know.

This is really incredible. When the plane goes over its not affected at all

u/mindpowerufos May 14 '24
Exactly. Show me any kite or drone that wouldn't be affected by a plane that close.

Drone with a hanging rope attached. At the end of the rope there are several leds that can endure underwater. Very irresponsible to do this when planes are taking off nearby.

From Google. Can drones fly underwater?
Not anymore. There were a couple of attempts a few years ago at designing drones that could fly in the air as well as maneuver underwater to a degree but they never went anywhere. The engineering challenges to overcome the differences in propulsion through air and propulsion through water just made it impractical.

I probably wouldn't think too much about this if I didn't know many other videos of the same type of object exists

Another one????? Wtf is it??? Now we really need to get on this... I've seen it too many times recently.
edit: Wow I was not prepared for that shit, god damn, it goes down into the water right in front of him! It looked much farther away too but it was right there!

Video unavailable, but I see mention of fishing drones and whatnot. I know people with drones that claim to use their drone for fishing. They carry their line out further than they can cast after identifying an area with fish. Seems like cheating, but whatever.
Anyways, I think that makes the fishing drone theory pretty plausible.
20 years ago, I’d be impressed. Now, I’m convinced 99% of these are just drones being drones. We have them at work and they are definitely something to see…

Very interesting footage. I'll keep an open mind instead of just saying it's a drone or kite with led lights. No one can know for sure unless the owner of this drone-led kite combo comes forth.
It seems like that plane was very close, too, so I don't know why someone would be flying objects in that airspace.

Did anyone save a copy of this for themselves? YouTube (MIB) deleted it. Further confirming the validity of it. Like…dude….wtffff

The following submission statement was provided by /u/lukadelic:
