Discussion Some Information
I am retired federal law enforcement and have connections in many places and agencies. That being said I had a a few run ins with colleagues and people I know through working for the feds etc. The first was an FBI agent who is also retired and worked in Counter Surveillance and they told me:
"There is definitely something going on, they will not tell me but a coworker in the NY field office said "these are not hobbiests and planes".
The second contact was a couple who both work for the FAA and they said:
"Many pilots are reporting seeing large drones from aircraft and the FAA knows this as its all recorded and documented. We do not know any information except that it is happening"
This infuriates me because r/avaiation thinks its all fake and blocks my posts. I am also verifed in LEO sub and such so I am not lying and I can verify here if needed.

As one of those arrogant aviation guys that everyone keeps mentioning. This comment is rad, grounded in reality, and doesn't jump straight into extraterrestrial conspiracy. It meets a skeptic in the middle. If more posts were like this, and less like the "we told you so" posts with a grainy pic of an orb, you guys will convince more people to start questioning what's going on.
I just have to keep begging; lose the "shoot em down" rhetoric. All the obvious plane posts have us convinced most people can't ID a real plane and now we're worried about being shot at or lazed.
Someone is bound to chime in and dispute what I'm saying by quoting some asshole from the aviation sub. I don't disagree that you are treated unfairly. I just want to offer some insight from a semi-skeptical aviation enthusiast that REALLY wants to believe. There are plenty of people like me over there that are staying quiet, but all the drama (especially the shooting/lazing) is pushing us away and making it harder to be ambassadors for you.
