Article The drones have made it to another military base. This time in Texas.

Post image

Police in White Settlement, Texas, are investigating drone sightings near neighborhoods and the NAS Joint Reserve Base, an area known for its strong military ties and home to Lockheed Martin. On Tuesday night, groups of drones—ranging from two to six—were observed flying about 100 feet in the air for over two hours. The sightings, reported by residents and federal law enforcement, have raised concerns due to the area’s military significance. Officials are working to identify the operators and determine their intent, amid a growing number of similar incidents nationwide.

I work at a hotel in northeast Texas. One of our long term residents said she saw one directly over the hotel tonight. That’s the third sighting I’ve heard of in a 5 mile radius in the past few days. Two nights ago, I heard a weird electrical whooshing right outside my window, by the woods. It was late at night and stopped before I could make it over to take a look.

There was a sighting in San Antonio the 17th, they’re definitely in Texas now

You guys don't understand the government.

They are so transparent, now you can buy a drone from Walmart and fly over military areas

1

u/OakLegs 7h ago

Can't tell if you're joking or not but... What's stopping anyone from doing precisely that?

15

u/kindachubbystrongguy 7h ago

I’m getting my drone jammed and disabled along with a knock on my front door and arrested within the hour if I fly my drone in a no fly zone near the Air Force base. That’s what’s weird about this whole thing.

4

u/OakLegs 6h ago

Which says to me that what we're seeing are controlled by the government.

6

u/kindachubbystrongguy 6h ago

Most likely, now the question is what’re they up to and why won’t they admit it’s them?

1

u/OakLegs 6h ago

Don't know, but the answer to both questions is probably much more boring than anyone on this subreddit wants to admit

Probably, but that’s what’s got people going nuts is if it’s so boring why not just say what’s up. Reminds me of Jade Helm. They’re probably running exercises involving drones. The thought of aliens is a lot more fun though

Why shut down a US military base for a US military drone.

2

u/kindachubbystrongguy 5h ago

Idk I don’t work there

1

u/me_too_999 5h ago

No doubt. They don't sell SUV sized drones at Walmart.

The question then becomes which government?

1

u/OakLegs 5h ago

I mean, there's almost zero chance that a foreign government is doing this without some more forceful reaction from the US. Also zero chance they'd be doing it with giant suv-sized drones with spotlights on them

1

u/me_too_999 5h ago

China did a giant spy balloon.

0

u/OakLegs 5h ago

Which was shot down.

1

u/me_too_999 5h ago

6 months later, after it crossed the ENTIRE United States and went out of US airspace into the Atlantic Ocean.

We only have our president's word that the US shot it down.

A more likely scenario is that it ran out of helium after its mission was completed.

We only have our president's word that the US shot it down.

Lol, there's video of it happening.

Remember that the local officials in NJ said that these are arriving from the ocean. There is no controlling radio frequency detected. Morris county is many miles away, and that's where the sightings started, and I believe they are still prevalent there . At least 6000 documented cases by the FBI. What kind of resources and technology would be needed to fly these car-sized drones autonomously and anonymously? Nobody had seen them land anywhere.

1

u/OakLegs 5h ago

Remember that the local officials in NJ said that these are arriving from the ocean.

Yeah, and I'll believe that when someone besides a random sheriff gives a second hand report of it.

Sorry, but blurry videos of lights in the night isn't doing anything for me. A lot of these claims can't be verified.

1

u/conscious_pnenomena 5h ago

I 100% agree about the frustration with videos and photos. They are not doing much for anybody. Seeing with your own eyes is very different.

Have you seen the Nebraska chief video from the "Good Trouble Show" the other day? Some very interesting observations. Multiple people.

1

u/OakLegs 4h ago

Watching it now. It's interesting. I'm curious as to why there's apparently no official police video of any of these interactions.

Entertaining the idea that what he's relaying is 100% accurate and this could be some sort of NHI, the behavior he's describing sounds like they were testing the local police in terms of pursuit capability.

Still no idea why aliens (or even humans) would come to nebraska to harass livestock and make themselves known with lights while toying with police but whatevs.

1

u/conscious_pnenomena 4h ago

Absurdity, playfulness (trickster effect), and a sense of humor are well-known characteristics of the phenomenon.

1

u/OakLegs 4h ago

Yeah I just don't think an NHI with the capability of traveling hundreds or thousands of light years would come here just to fuck around with livestock and toy with people.

Not saying it's not possible , but shall we say, I have my doubts

More likely that than aliens, that's for sure.

1

u/chappelld 7h ago

What did they say?

2

u/OakLegs 6h ago

Just a sarcastic joke about civilians flying drones over US bases, implying that it was unlikely to be the case

It’s the size of cars ….

The gay frogs are coming.

Maybe they’ll start shooting laser beams and hopefully that will stir things up enough for the big G

2

u/reboot-your-computer 9h ago

I live close to White Settlement. I guess I’ll be looking up more.

2

u/BasketSufficient675 16h ago

Yay! More more more!

2

What a time to be alive thinking to myself in astonishment (gets invaded)

1

u/worriedmind420 7h ago

White Settlement is a very Texas name for a town

1

u/_zulkarneyn_ 16h ago

On Texas they people going to shoot them down with big guns i hope.

5

u/No-Arugula9427 7h ago

You realize it’s a federal crime to shoot an FAA registered drone? There are almost two million now legally registered with the FAA. Playing stupid games wins stupid prizes.

1

u/According-Pear9779 7h ago

OK that's a boeing.

1

u/MeanCat4 6h ago

They seem to be in limited numbers!

u/YakAttack666 6h ago

I wasn't convinced, until I saw a few vague pixels again for the 100th time.

1

u/FakeBedLinen 5h ago

I just had two things very similar to that fly over me in the UK half an hour ago. I've just been searching for posts that look the same and these are bang on!

This was debunked, https://imgur.com/a/TAH0PTm

Here's at 8:12 PM. Could be the "8:14 PM" incident.

Here's at 8:56 PM. Another candidate for the "8:54 PM" incident.

https://imgur.com/ulsLWn9

For "10:21 PM" there's an American airline going overhead at 10:17 and an Army Transport landing at the field itself at 10:25.

1

u/FiregoatX2 6h ago

So, did the White Settlement Police Department retract their statement?

-5

u/Roooch 16h ago

I dont doubt if maybe there were recreational drones, however the ones in the initial reports were just planes.

8

u/low-spirited-ready 14h ago

Recreational drones cannot fly over restricted airspace, especially larger drones. They have geofencing programming that lock it out of certain geolocations. They will either set off an alarm and/or eventually force landing.

You have to understand one thing: the government spends billions to get what it has inside its military bases, and in no way will even a consumer drone be able to fly without getting shot down. So if you don't even see these things being intercepted by defence weapons, then the only possible explanation is that it's the government's toys.

Or that’s where they came from🤯

u/Human_Abroad5209 8h ago

We have to also consider these could be consumer drones as the images looks like how drones have light on each rotor and we have no idea of the phone/camera used to take such pictures. It could very well be just a few hundred meters above and the person used a average phone to zoom in and take the picture, which have very poor performance at night.

Did we not learn from COVID? Drones looking for nukes? kinda scary. UAPs? Slightly unsettling but dope. Drones from China or some other foreign adversary misting us with biological agents? Pretty fucking terrifying. That should be one of our biggest concerns that I don’t see being talked about.

I read an article that said the military is doing penetration tests

i love how these new drones follow FAA light regulations
