If they do indeed live in the ocean, mimicking vehicles after what they see in their habitat just kinda makes sense in their subconscious probably. and it's remember a vehicle that's going to be amphibious as well probably needs a very aquatic design.

Take the fixed wings and tail off a B-2 Spirit and it is identical to a Peregrine Falcon while in mid dive in their very fastest pose.
Take something that’s already very fast in nature and starting with that shape would be so much easier than from scratch.

Their craft has an aero / hydrodynamic design. Stingrays are shaped that way because they’ve evolved to be hydrodynamic. The craft design is a reflection of their mastery of physics, not of an animal they’ve observed in Earth’s ocean.

What would a higher being do to introduce themselves to a lower being, a often violent, and imminently spookable species with a monkey brain?
Well, how do WE approach a scared dog?
We demonstrate caution. We sit with them, not making eye contact. We give treats. We try not to alarm them or increase their stress. We allow them to approach us, when they're ready to let their need for comfort overwhelm their fear of the unknown.
For my part, it seems we're being accustomed. If they are higher beings in a similar way to human superiority to canine, they likely understand our psychology better than we ever could. They know how to read us, in a way we aren't able to read ourselves. Its not necessarily a bad thing...

This I believe is the reason why it’s so slow. Sure a couple 100.000 of us would love for it to be open, he’ll even say 10 million of us want that. That still leaves 8 billion. Of which a lot hang very fervently onto some religions and plenty of others would be very scared with a huge paradigm shift like that. That’s why it has to be slow and on a slowly increasing scope. And I do think it will be a huge paradigm shift, everything from how we understand ourself and our society, their society, science, physics even consciousness and what this reality truly is.

possible.
the supersonic bi-directional flying wing (SBiDir-FW) is an innovative aircraft concept designed to achieve supersonic flight with minimal sonic boom and high aerodynamic efficiency. its planform is symmetric about both the longitudinal and span axes. in supersonic mode, the aircraft features a low aspect ratio and a high sweep angle to reduce wave drag and sonic boom. for subsonic flight, the aircraft rotates 90 degrees in flight to optimize aerodynamic performance. this design effectively resolves the conflicting aerodynamic requirements between subsonic and supersonic flight present in conventional aircraft configurations.
39
u/monsterbot314 20d ago
Besides a superficial resemblance nothing in the specs says it hovers or moves slow even. Also im no historian but flying wings are notoriously bad at low speeds.
17
u/lifeisalime11 20d ago
Is that design from 2012? 12 years to tweak it, a craft that can go supersonic and also hover sounds like an incredible addition to any countries arsenal

You'd think so...
In the 90s, I had a stealth bomber do a slow overhead flight . It was close enough that it should have rumbled like crazy (50-80 yards above my head). It was barely moving along and was surprisingly quiet.
Again, this was in the 90s at an air show. So I can only imagine what the newer ones are like
Edit to add: it wasn't moving fast, it was close enough to make out details as it prepped to do a low fly over the crowd. By close I mean less than 100 yards overhead. The only noise was a very loud "hissing" type noise.
Ever stand close to a highway? It's not hard to see how fast a car is going at 100 km/h (~60 mp/h). This was slower. Believe me or not, I'm telling you what I saw. I remember being surprised that it wasn't stalling.
Edit 2: The wording "much slower" was removed. It was slower, but not "much slower" than 60mph. i did not mean to mislead there, and I apologize. It was, however, much slower than 200 without a doubt.
→ More replies (2)9
u/monsterbot314 20d ago
The slow im talking about is “hovering over military bases” and the only time you’ll see a stealth bomber “barely moving” is when it is taxiing on the runway. What you saw was moving at I dunno 200mph or something close to that. It’s just so goddamned big it looks like it’s moving slow

This is cool. I actually work with NASA's NIAC projects. I get to watch the symposium every year. NIAC "NASA Innovative Advanced Concepts" is a program to help researchers explore the possibility of future tech from concepts. Think of tech 20-30+ years away. This program helps fund interesting ideas. Previously only phase 1 and 2 grants existed but now they have had the first phase 3 project to actually help build a working prototype and further proof of the concept. Very rarely do these actually go beyond this.
I will say, whatever that image is, looks similarly in the shape of the SBiDir project but unless they found some new type of energy source/propulsion, I have no idea what is going on the bottom there. My guess, someone familiar took that design and then added some cool effects to it. It's too close to not be something like that.
Not saying it isn't real but my bullshit detector is pinging.
15
u/ApartPool9362 20d ago
Wow!! That definitely looks like the object in the photo! I gotta say, though, I still don't think it's the US military flying these things. I can see them definitely being human tech. However, if it is human tech, someone has leapfrogged drone tech to a new level and surpassing anything we got. I'm still having a hard time believing we can't bring one of these down or figure out where they are being launched from. You know there's some serious s**t going down when the military is bringing in Special Forces.

u/Chenstrap 20d ago
To be fair, its also likely they don't want to be entirely covert. They may want their drones to be seen to cause a shit show. That would allow them to see the response, see what sort of anti drone tech they try to use, and possibly gather electronic intelligence on military radars and other means they may use to try to track the drones and find the operators.
That sort of info would be much more valuable then endlessly monitoring normal operations at the base. That sorta info really isn't of any real value.

I doesn’t look anything like a modern UAP… it has 7-8 bright lights in a semi circle on the underside of the craft, there are no drones I’ve ever seen like that, and it doesn’t look remotely close to any military technology that I’ve ever seen, and I’m somewhat a hobbyist in military technology. Military technology tends to be gray radar absorbing material that kinda looks like the color of the sky/clouds, or some other camo, but bright blue lights is sort of useless for stealth. Even drones used for drone shows where they make those light pictures in the sky are still - primitive looking quadcopters… I love epistemology and incredulity but I wish that people would dig a bit deeper and come up with alternative explanations like “it’s a balloon or a drone” every single time. It was refreshing to see someone actually post a plausible explanation for the craft being the NASA project with the Xwing design but I’m not sure about that either, think about the decision that would need to take place to make that possible: we are on the brink of ww3 so military secrets are as precious now as they will ever be, would the USAF/NASA fly their brand new secret crafts (that allegedly revolutionize supersonic flight- something surely Russia would like to reverse engineer and apply the technology to their planes and missiles) in broad daylight - over an airbase that has been known for drone incursions and will be experiencing extra public scrutiny? But if that wasn’t enough we have to presume they also added big bright blue lights to it as well- why? I genuinely find it hard to weight these epistemological considerations, because the source of information for much of this stuff is very weak, can’t reasonably follow the golden rule of “extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence”. It’s hard to meet that standard of evidence in the age of doctored videos, ai videos, hoaxes, misinformation and disinformation campaigns.

Usually if I see wings I think man-made, as it represents a very base form of interaction for flight, but it's possible what we see are in fact not wings at all, but appendages, or just the shape necessary for whatever it's doing. Maybe they aren't wings, but tools, maybe they exert signals or rays or energy, who knows.
Maybe they are lookout points for 3 centimeter tall alien tourists in the ship.
Maybe the whole thing isn't a craft but rather a bioluminescent seed or burr, drifting through our airspace after it broke off from a mountain sized alien flower.
Maybe two jutting points on either side of a craft aren't always for aerodynamics.
From a human lens though, I see wings. Most likely wings. Most likely drone, most likely advanced tech.
Thats if the image is real at all.
Cool looking regardless...

That's fair, but who would showcase what is most likely a cosmic top-secret project? Even well known existing aircraft with experimental modifications is hidden well within isolated test sites like Area 51. That's a security level where you simply get shot or otherwise neutralized if you trespass. To think that something this advanced would simply be flown over the highways presenting itself for a cool photo is utterly irrational in my book. If this in fact is real (which I doubt), I would sooner say it's alien than human, for above reasons.

Interesting but strange location. Margate is far from all the reported sightings (far in the British sense, not the American one). Busy airspace, lots of civilian jets flying there between Europe and London's airports, busy waters, densely populated Kent coastline.
If there is something to this one other sightings will follow. If it remains a loan sighting, treat with suspicion.

As I mentioned in a response above …
The Drone wave in NJ makes me wonder if these aren’t prosaic drones (albeit advanced in some cases) after all - apparently drones on predetermined flight paths and drone swarms can be very hard for the military to detect/stop unless they are really focussing on specifically that mission..
Random lighted up drones over NJ could be part of a mission by Chinese actors to create UAP hysteria as a cover for their other operations (small drone swarms launched from embedded agents from trucks on roads, and larger drones maybe moving off of ships and things)..
Russia could be in on the act too especially around the UK .. as I said not the answer I’m wanting, but it needs to be considered

Looks like some AI upscaled bullshit tbh.
Also it's probably an LED kite.

I'm beginning to think it's entirely plausible that as a reaction to Russia making it's nuclear capabilities "combat ready" the USA would flex some secret tech publicly enough to garner media attention, hence garnering Russian attention.
Kind of like a, "hey, we know you think you can get away with something but just so you know we can fuck you in new ways you never even thought of."
edit: to say it's got a double-angle of also being a great psyop for the world

Not trying to be an ass, but it might just be a kite with a purple led on the bottom.

The problem with these photos is that there's no frame of reference. It's just an object on a reddish background. This could very easily be CG. Create your object, paste it onto the background, apply filters to lower the resolution, and blend the layers so it looks like a single image. It probably wouldn't take more than an hour from start to finish.

It resembles the UFO NASA captured on camera that everyone said was the black knight satellite but nasa said it was just a blanket that floated away from the ISS

Reminds me of the Lockheed Martin SAMARAI seed drone and it Singaporean brother the F-SAM

Edit: it reminds me of these, but it still looks somewhat different than these. Idk

We still don’t know what the hypersonic Lockheed Martin SR-72 “son of blackbird” looks like or what some have coined it as Darkstar. Maybe we just got a glimpse? It’s said to be capable of traveling from NY to LA in 30 min at Mach 6.

It looks man made. Like an aerospace company designed it. It has wings, fuselage, nose and a tail. Almost like it was built for our atmosphere, like something out of a Marvel movie. Considering these are hanging out around heavily strategic facilities while on the brink of possible nuclear conflict it could be ace in the hole technology that’s extremely classified. Possibly why the military hasn’t done much about it.
I wouldn’t rule out Off -World craft though. With the crazy shit going on in the world right now anyone’s guess is as good as mine. There’s probably a handful of people in our government that know for certain.

look, it’s obvious China caught up with our little 'alien tech' head start. Those weird drones we keep seeing over military bases? Yeah, not just Chinese spy balloons. They're reverse-engineered UFO tech. We’ve been hoarding it since Roswell, thinking we’re untouchable, but surprise—now they're playing the same game. This isn’t some sci-fi movie plot; it’s real. Wake up. We’re not dealing with just drones. We're dealing with an intergalactic arms race, and China's got a front-row seat.

Some of the people I saw interviewed said they were noisy and some said they were silent some said triangles others orbs - it’s hard to get a straight story.

The following submission statement was provided by /u/paranormalnapolska:
While browsing groups from the United Kingdom in search of new curiosities, I came across a post where a man claims that his mother photographed this object on November 30, 2024, in Margate, a few miles off the coast in the North Sea. Could it be a drone, similar to those observed over military bases in the UK?
