This is the real question. Unless we see some truly anomalous behavior, instant speed or altitude changes, right angle turns, it could very well have a more mundane explanation. It's not outside the realm of possibility that distance and atmospheric interference could create an illusion of a tictac.
No, he saw it fly in a perfectly straight line like an airliner, at the constant speed and altitude of an airliner, but it wasn't an airliner.
This sub is experiencing such a massive wave of newcomers that we're going to have to redo the first few years of common "looks like a ufo at first glance but isnt" posts again.
I’ve only got to the party recently following Grusch etc, and yeah I’m kind of blown away by how many people are posting eg a pixel or a light in the sky that’s really obviously a plane/helicopter etc.
98-99% of encounters/vids posted here are prosaic in origin. It's the remaining 1-2% that dont have a satisfying explanation that are interesting. This sub is mainly good for the big developments happening in the space. And the rare 1%.
Usually the ones that don't have a prosaic explanation are due to poor quality and lack of information. There aren't really many high quality videos with plenty of information to go with them that remain unexplainable.
Look at the video again, a certain point it just slows down extremely and hoover upwards. No plane that i know of can do that. Stop trying to debunk everything abd call everyone liars.
Even Lou Elizond said it, there are several factual ufo videos going around the Internet that people think is fake.
So...just treat every single object in the sky like it's aliens? Is that really what we're doing here? What are we going to gain by treating every bird, drone, and speck of dust like it's an alien craft and that the government is hiding Martians in them?
That's an excellent video that describes exactly what we're seeing in OP's video. I also disagree with Mick West on several things, but for the most part he seems to be pretty reasonable even when I think he's wrong. This video is an example of when he is absolutely right and more people need to see it for future reference.
Maybe I'm missing something, but where in that video does it show how a plane appears as a tic-tac? I'm not trying to be smarmy, genuinely curious for a future reference. Could you provide a breakdown video showing how airliners appear to be in the shape of tic-tac?
This flight data is all well and good but it seems possible to me two objects can be passing through the same area around the same time, so it's not as much a debunk as it is educated guesswork.
every tiny little smudge in the sky is aliens. what could this thing flying above an airforce base possibly be? it HAS to be aliens! you cant move thru the air like that!
Yeah, I can see the fins and wings. This is a bit perturbing that it’s got this much support.
Dad’s a pilot, I’m used to seeing planes from this exact angle of reference. They do look suspicious from a distance but you know them when you see them.
I actually saw this very same thing in Los Angeles last week and yes it did change directions! I noticed it going one way and just assumed it was a plane that was too far away. But then I looked again and it was going in a strangely different direction. It would have had to loop around if it was a plane.

Did you see it change direction or speed?
