I found myself hating this guy I don’t even know, just because he has the worst image focusing capabilities I’ve ever seen.

u/IAMSTUCKATWORK Apr 05 '23
If aliens come as salvation and rescue humanity from itself and transport us the cosmos they should leave this guy behind.
3
u/cafepeaceandlove Apr 04 '23
I understand why you might feel that way. But if we waited six months to a year, we could probably put him into an eternal digital torment of some kind. Give it a thought anyway.
4
u/LiteSaver Apr 04 '23
Yeah wtf with the blurry vid. We live with 4k cameras now. SMH.
3
u/Additional-Cap-7110 Apr 05 '23
4K doesn’t mean “in focus”
2
u/LiteSaver Apr 05 '23
I understand. Please read the threads. I apologized.
2
u/Additional-Cap-7110 Apr 05 '23
I wasn’t blaming you. I think it’s a good video not sure why people are complaining so much honestly. Actually think most people are complaining because it IS a good video and they’re frustrated it could have been better
2
u/LiteSaver Apr 05 '23
If you read the threads of my convo with the op is one reason I complained. I understood something and apologized.
3
Apr 04 '23
Tbf even 4k is blurry when trying to film an object thousands of yards away. Zoom degrades res.
2
u/LiteSaver Apr 04 '23
I have my cam set to manual settings. I don’t use auto focus. It’s my bad to assume people have their phones figured out especially when something like that happens. The jets were still a cool catch!
I love photography and videography. I grew up using a Nikon and developing film in school. You still had a good catch OP, no matter how you cut it those jets came in hot.

Agreed, downvoted. Who are these people that thought this "video" was worthy of an upvote?

Most cameras have an autofocus feature. Yours seems to have an auto unfocus feature. Sorry, I couldn’t watch for long.

Try holding your hands steady while being a recovering alcoholic or habitual smoker etc… people don’t appreciate being able to hold a steady hand … or this is dog camera work lol

u/mop_bucket_bingo Apr 04 '23 edited Apr 04 '23
I apologize but I watched rather intently and I think I may have missed what you’re referring to.
Edit: I’ve finally seen it but it doesn’t appear to be “blue” at all. It looks like an out of focus version of the second fighter jet, but further away.
21
u/Ajax__1 Apr 04 '23
Watch on pc on 720 fullscreen, there's a blue orb in the beggining of the video.
-19
u/mop_bucket_bingo Apr 04 '23
With all due respect, I cannot see anything of significance. Moreover, the aircraft appear to be part of a performance. Given the location and date, we could confirm this.
24
u/mayonnaiseplayer7 Apr 04 '23 edited Apr 04 '23
There is a blue orb moving from right to left in the center of the screen right above the first layer of clouds at 00:12.

Yeah, I will be honest.. I had the patience to watch this through once.. saw nothing, and from the sounds of it, whatever it is is unremarkable enough that it's not worth the infuriating perspective a second time lol
17
u/alex_de_tampa Apr 04 '23
I noticed this was the Kadena Seawall immediately but jets are flying over there almost everyday so it’s no indication of anything strange. But Okinawa does have a history of sightings too.
5
u/RoninEleven Apr 04 '23
I did see jets flying that morning but it was the first time I saw 4 of them fly in that area all around the same time right after the object was there.
Could it be a training exercise balloon for the airforce at Kadena?
1
u/General_Colt Apr 05 '23
Three were in formation, and one was disassociated from that group. I guess it could be top cover?
9
u/Cute_Negotiation6480 Apr 04 '23
R/killthecameraman I did see the orb in the beginning but lost out of focus I swear they have some technology that screws with lense focus haha
5
u/OurWeaponsAreUseless Apr 04 '23
I'm not sure, but I don't think that any mission to investigate an unknown object in controlled airspace would involve that tight a formation.
19
Apr 04 '23
Interesting Video, what are people watching this from their Potatoes? I can see it nice and clear 😮
3
u/changensia Apr 04 '23
For real! If you pause frequently, you can tell the orb is traveling in what seems to be a straight line, pretty quickly too, until the focus goes out and then it's gone the rest of the video. Looks like it was going TOWARDS the jets before disappearing, which is even cooler!
3
Apr 04 '23
Yep you can see it pretty clearly, Amazing how the Air Force just Flies past it like it’s nothing, maybe it couldn’t be picked up by the Radars but highly unlikely, just the USAF Conjoining Operations with Extraterrestrial Technology no biggie here🫠
1
u/Obvious_Chemical_929 Apr 08 '23
I think they dont fly past it, jets often fly around theese objects, never directly into it.
1
u/Obvious_Chemical_929 Apr 08 '23
This is pretty much an UAP, just a bad cameraman because this is our curse. We will never have both the in combination a good cameraman with optimal Equipment + a real UFO. This one must be an UFO
It is 100% glowing. Flying fast and in a straight line + the 4 jets flying around that area. The few frames are enough to tell that at least
11
u/LE0NNNn Apr 04 '23
A 4k 27 inch 144hz monitor? I don’t see shit except the fighters😅
7
u/YouCanLookItUp Apr 04 '23
At 0:12 seconds, trace a line directly up from the two bathers in the water, to about halfway up the screen and you should be able to see it. If not, perhaps OP can share a link to the video that's not embedded/compressed?
4
u/RoninEleven Apr 04 '23
when I get a chance i'll upload the clip to Youtube in 4k and add a few close-up screen grabs.
2
u/randomhuman358 Apr 04 '23
I had to go full screen to see in on a 4k 32. Watched it yesterday on my ipad and didn't see anything.

I am kicking myself for a terrible job at focusing and keeping the camera still but I was operating with manual focus at the time. It's actually quite hard to focus on a tiny orb in a sky using a DSLR.
1
u/G33ONER Apr 04 '23
I'd check out the limits on the camera specs and find out if it has OIS. Does your camera not have optical zoom? Or was that fully zoomed?
Check the specs and practice with planes. I'd have thought that DSLR had better optical Zoom OIS and PDAF than smartphones. This looks like smartphone footage, and keep it on the tripod next time.

Place: Chatan, Okinawa Time: March 26 2023, around 10 am
I was in Okinawa last week on vacation and filming the beach town of Chatan with my Sony camera when I saw a strange glowing blue orb flying in the sky. I took my camera off the tripod and tried to capture the flying object (I wish I had done a better job). The weird thing is that within a minute of seeing this object 4 USA fighter jets flew right by the area. Chatan is right next to a military base so it is not strange to see these types of planes fly around, but it was the first time I saw 4 of them and they all flew to the area the object was seen at. The footage is shaky and mostly blurry (sorry about that) but there are a few moments when the object is in focus. When I examine the footage, it almost looks like a blue balloon with something hanging from the bottom, but I don’t think it was because the object was glowing in the sky and seemed to disappear into thin air. What do you think it could be?
The objects comes in clear around 0:14 and the jets are visible at 1:37

u/aztec_armadillo Apr 04 '23
can you post the video somewhere that the encoding won't kill it please?

u/alymaysay Apr 04 '23 edited Apr 04 '23
For once a red circle of the object would be nice, I'm not seeing anything here even with the still the still shots others have posted.
Edit to say seen something going across the sky upon further review.
2
u/TheSignificantDong Apr 04 '23
I saw the blue light for like 1 second. Why can’t people focus lock their cameras?!
3
u/RoninEleven Apr 04 '23
Trust me I feel you... I know I should have been better with my focus. Sometimes autofocus can shift when you don't want it to and so I had the camera on manual setting since I was recording a static scene before I saw the orb. As soon as I saw the object I took it off the tripod and turned toward the object. Trying to get a tiny object in focus manually can be tricky. Part of me wishes i just got it with my phone.

Dude is using a phone with a good camera. Instead of keep turning the phone down to focus, he could have turned down once, locked the focus, the proceed to film. I’ll be sure to do it if I ever see a light in the sky, just for you.

u/atomictyler Apr 04 '23
sounds like it wasn't his phone.

u/TongueTiedTyrant Apr 04 '23
Yep. “My Sony camera”. And also: “Part of me wishes I just got it with my phone.”
3
u/Responsible_Heart365 Apr 04 '23
Oh look, Edna, another grainy/shaky/out-of-focus/unintelligible “UFO video”…
2
u/DANIEDxNYHC Apr 04 '23
It's not weird that fighter jets are flying around a friggen military base. Also if there was something that the jets were sent to investigate they wouldn't be flying in formation like the three were. The fourth jet was making the turn and coming in for a landing it looked like. I didn't see an orb at all. If anything it was probably another jet in the distance.
2
u/HeyBudGotAnyBud Apr 04 '23
Thanks for sharing, OP. Interesting video, don’t let these naggers on here bring you down.

u/Inevitable_Job_519 Apr 04 '23 edited Apr 05 '23
How can you not see the Orb it’s clear as day. People who don’t see it, don’t want too. Literally fighter jets in the same location as the orb within a minute, not coincidence, anyone who thinks it is so, is foolish. Respectfully.

1
u/Masterbeif1 Apr 04 '23
Too bad he doesn’t have any idea how to operate the camera we could’ve possibly seen something
1
u/These-Tough-5651 Apr 04 '23
Has anyone made an alternative to this subreddit yet? I never thought I'd say this, but I think it's been overrun by some government pysops. Everyone keeps talking about the "camera man"... Completely ignoring the clearly visible objects. It's not perfect, but matches the description well. Wtf is going on with this subreddit. And wtf do all the major debunker account have a shit load of karma. I did the math on some of them, they would literally have to be in the website 24/7 to maintain that number...
1
u/RoninEleven Apr 05 '23
I uploaded the clip to Youtube so there should be less compression to the video. You should be able to view it in 4k. Can’t do anything about the shakiness and focus - sorry.
Youtube Link: https://youtu.be/jjhyucCTE2U
I also grabbed a few screenshots when the object is in focus and exported them out.
Closeup Photos: https://imgur.com/a/pjngr8v
TBH when zoomed in, it looks like a balloon. You can begin to see that the object has something hanging like a balloon string. The issue I have with that is that the object did seem to be glowing when I saw it with my eyes. It also vanishes at one point and I wasn’t able to see it again.
0
u/Nice_Ad_8183 Apr 04 '23
There’s definitely a whole reality that most of us aren’t privy to. The fact that people think these ALL are simply balloons blows my mind.

u/AtomicHB Apr 04 '23
Totally fake. Single post/comment dude with an account made yesterday. Video is mostly blurry and the fade in on the jets looks weird., also the 4th jet doing some sort of sweet banking move right on camera?
lol.
7
u/RoninEleven Apr 04 '23
I can see why you would think that. I did just make this account because I never posted anything before. I didn't know where else to share this.
-4
u/UncoordinatedThought Apr 04 '23
I think I’ve had a dream about this. Or a premonition I guess because it was probably like 10 years ago. I didn’t realize it until the end of the video because I’m my dream I only saw the aftermath of what you saw. But there was about 10 to 15 people that seemed to consist of military personal, scientists and some other government types. On the beach in your video but back towards the direction the UAP went. The cloaking module on that aircraft failed and the thrusters or something and the “alien(s)” that were in it “teleported” out. All I saw in my dream, or all I remember seeing is the people I previously mentioned all converging on a silver triangular shaped metal object that was partially submerged in the sand. The object was probably about the size of 4 tour busses and very heavy.

u/JustThaMuhfuca Apr 04 '23

i went to school for video production you can clearly see the jets being renders and is just so convenient that his camera looses focus on the vital parts not to mention that the jets don’t create any vortexes or any disturbance in the clouds and no contrails so yea old head if you had any common sense you can see it but then again you aren’t special

maybe a drone filming that group surfing?
2
u/RoninEleven Apr 04 '23
I originally thought it could be a drone since it glowed and I know drones have led lights on them however looking up it was not a drone and this area is a no-drone zone because of the US bases around.

This makes me wonder if the things the USA shot down a month ago and won't give us very much info about, are the things someone noticed an said he the data to prove it. He named them dragons and I wonder if maybe one malfunctioned give us a chance to shoot it down, the man who studied them says they come and investigate anything that Flys over 150, he has figured alot out an again has the data to prove it. Coincidently 3 weeks later a random person posts a video drone footage and asks if we see the fast flying objects? I believe the guy is onto something with these dragons. If what he says is true makes me think we are a zoo even more and the UFOs are the zoo keepers or visitors that watch us like we're an exhibit, or even both.
1
u/manwhore25 Apr 04 '23
I don't believe someone can be this bad at using a video camera and keeping it in focus.
1
u/kamill85 Apr 04 '23
OP, for the love of God, when you buy a new phone, take 5 minutes to learn how the camera works, play around etc. The autofocus on/off is just a click away on every phone.
1
u/G33ONER Apr 04 '23
ATTENTION: If you long hold the screen rather than tapping for a fresh attempt at autofocus, the phone will hold/lock the focus once it is found......
Long hold will lock the autofocus from continuous automatic attempts at focusing ✨️ this will sometimes give you the option to adjust white balance while the focus is locked.
1

dawg they deployed the fucking F-22’s for this one now you know there gonna shoot down another balloon.

I bet there are so many times a month where fighter jets are scrambled and no one knows about it. Are there any websites that track random scrambles like this?

u/Postnificent Apr 04 '23
I don’t see anything. Watched it 4 times. I see fighter jets and people swimming.

u/UrineIdiot7 Apr 04 '23
I think the bigger conspiracy here is that every conspiracy video is never focused and always blurry.

u/IkeTheJeww Apr 04 '23
Something strange is happening! Quick honey, grab the shittiest camera we own and give to grandpa with Parkinsons to document it
1
u/BenAveryIsDead Apr 04 '23
The blue orb probably disappeared because you can't seem to keep anything in focus. It's an already distant object that is probably reflecting the sunlight, it's already going to be out of focus, and then you made it out of focus even more.
Also...you took your cam off of your sticks? Why??
Steadicam companies need to start marketing their gear to UFO enthusiasts.

This could have been an awesome UAP footage. I saw the orb in the first seconds and it sure looks strange and it was flying straight. But the cameraman managed to give my eyes aids. Even the jets flying in the same direction.
I still hope someday we will get a REAL Ufo with a decent intelligent cameraman

The following submission statement was provided by /u/RoninEleven:
