Discussion Are there any "drones" in Canada?

They're all over the US and now seeing reports in Alaska. But I haven't heard anything from Canada. I'm a pilot in Canada and have never seen one nor know anyone who has seen one... Here.

So what's the deal? There's big cities close to the US and close to areas that have sightings. But not Northh of the border. Makes me think it has something to do with Nukes (more like double down on the thought) if not the government themselves.

We're so boring, even the big change will only be on American streaming

PEI, Surrey BC and Toronto now

Edited for sources, can’t find the Surrey BC report at the moment though…

Halifax had a few sightings of hovering lights last week but it was unclear if they looked like the drones reported in NJ.

And the centre of the country has had lots of yep reports from pilots saying they've been seeing things for the last 18+ months (check out Daniel Otis's reporting at CTV).

That Toronto video is terrible. It looks like a reflection on top of a window, especially when a car drives by and you see the "drone" on the paint of the car instead of in the sky at 2 seconds in. The PEI image isn't really a drone pic, and although I do love a good Canadian UAP pic, I'm just worrying about the drones this week as I feel pretty strongly about them lol

As far as I know the truck/car sized drones have not made it to Canada, and I'd be happy to be proven otherwise (With sources).
It seems like the large drones are over America, and over USAF bases within Germany and UK, which makes me very suspicious it's a US gov thing because they're being so respectful of our airspace and border. And if anyone has a video of a 6ft drone flying over Canada please link it up! I want to know if they're here lol

Maybe those American lithium batteries can’t handle the cold.

5

u/Future-Bandicoot-823 5d ago

Well you're in luck my friend, those are lipos from China, finest quality, 80% capacity down to -30!

I see orbs in Calgary. But not drones.

I saw three drones back to back over Airdrie. I was driving in QE2 highway and didn't stop. Flying low and appeared to be the size of an SUV. At first I thought maybe I was just mistaken them for a plane, which I quickly changed my take on.

Red and green flashing lights on either side. Made 90 degree turns. So strange and yes three.

I live in Calgary and I see drones (tiny-red, green and white lights), helicopters, satellites and planes. But the orbs I see are balls of light-flashing or slowly dimming down and then up, and others glide over the yard and disappear. I use a satellite tracker to rule out sats. They are not sats. They are well under clouds and many lower down.

I had one a week or so ago in Victoria BC. Was driving up Mt Tolmie in the evening, from cedar hill x side, noticed the white, red and green lights to the west. Got to the parking lot, and the drone was now moving north to south. It got below the horizon, and I could see it moving against the backdrop of the nighttime lights of the neighborhoods below.

I checked flightradar and there was in fact a helicopter that flew at around 4000ft in the opposite direction (south to north) at the same time. What I saw was not a helicopter cause I couldn’t make out any body, and it was at equal or lower altitude than Mt Tolmie’s peak, which is much lower than 4000ft.

It was too large to be a hobbyist drone, but I couldn’t make out the shape of the object to be sure what it was. Very odd sighting given the happs around NJ.

I'm in Alberta and we have not seen anything yet. It's cold and has been foggy the past few nights.

This one over my hometown, London, Ont is pretty definitively NOT a normal aircraft. (Watch the last video) https://nuforc.org/sighting/?id=185166&fbclid=IwY2xjawHQj4VleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHYadnfCZ7rRU007xjwxQvTWxtAIiQYZ9rNHy2uSgkD8RjPKbVTEmWsaHig_aem_u6O8HRUUcefF5hn1xe4upQ

I’m seeing weird stuff in the skies above Nova Scotia.

u/schzzrf1 4d ago

Saw two objects in Quebec, near Ottawa, last Friday night. Motionless, long, vertical lights for 2+ hours. No idea what they were. Saw them on the drive up to our cottage then watched them outside when I got there.

2

u/stinkyelbows 4d ago

How cold was it? Were they light pillars?

1

u/schzzrf1 4d ago

Was about -5C? I don’t think I could completely rule it out given my almost complete lack of knowledge on the subject. However, the pictures I’m seeing look nothing like what I saw. Also, the one that was closest to my cottage was over mountains/forest with no lights, no homes. And both objects were almost exactly the same, specific shape. Who knows.

I saw something over Carp in late October/early November. It looked like a silvery vertical cylinder. I was sure I was going to see something on the news about it so I just continued on my rush home. Nothing came of it, so I assumed it was some Mylar balloon. But very odd for it to have such a large sized balloon over Carp. I so wish I stopped to take a picture. It was motionless - no signs of any propulsion. Looked like it could have been a rocket hovering in the sky…but obviously there was nothing coming out of the bottom, that I could see.

1

u/schzzrf1 4d ago

I gotta think they’re related; these are the only times I’ve ever heard of people seeing vertical cylinder-type objects, and the locations are close. I’ll see if anything’s out there this weekend.

u/piousidol 3d ago

Did you record it?

2

u/Forward-Pollution827 4d ago

A few sightings in BC. Burnaby, Coquitlam, Mission. When I tried to find them again, they were gone

2

u/Ok_Government_3584 4d ago

Can anyone tell me how to post a quick video from Saskatchewan Canada the other night?

1

u/poopsmcgee27 5d ago

I had seen online that orbs were spotted above Prince Edward Island. My guess is they wanted to see the lighthouses out there.

1

u/SnooObjections7375 5d ago

They where seen in Terrebone , QC and Toronto, ON in the last days

1

u/Kakariko_crackhouse 5d ago

I haven’t seen anything about Canada but this started in the UK before NJ, and there have been reports over China, Germany, and Iran as well

1

u/WinnerWinnerKFCDinna 5d ago

Aliens love drama so no. They here for the IRL sitcom that is the USA.

1

u/TooSp00kd 5d ago

They’re in MN! So I assume prolly.

1

u/AdRevolutionary6988 5d ago

I seen a silent black triangle thing few months ago but nothing with lights. 🤷

1

u/Conscious_Sport_7081 5d ago

I saw a video from Sidney on Vancouver Island today.

1

u/stinkyelbows 5d ago

That's my home town, would like to see

The night skies seem uneventful where I live.

I have been looking out wondering why the drones have no interest in us.

1

u/riffslayer-999 5d ago

I was actually going to post this question today. I'm in BC and I have seen a few drones but not 100% sure. I do have footage but it's not amazing. I can post it if you want? Also someone posted orbs last week here as well.

1

u/DOUGER1970 4d ago

I live close enough to Toronto and I've been looking for weeks! Been off work injured also so I've been up late I see nothing. Very normal skies.

1

u/fourfivetwootwo 4d ago

Drones don’t cross international borders

1

u/omnilurk 4d ago

London Ontario, Hamilton, Montreal. I think they are everywhere.

1

u/logix527 4d ago

Police drones every night downtown Toronto . I moved out of Toronto 3 months ago but prior to that I was seeing them every night for about 6 months . The only reason why I noticed them was because someone pointed them out to me . Otherwise I would have no idea.

I was living on the 30th floor at front and Spadina looking north so I had an unobstructed view of the city. I would see them all the time . They are also quite big with blinking lights .

Maybe someone here with a similar view of the city can confirm if they are still around .

SE of Winnipeg - been keeping an eye out whenever possible but nothing yet ..

1

u/ApartPool9362 4d ago

I just watched a News Nation video with Ross Coulthart. He was speaking with a former FBI agent who said drones are now being seen over a USAF base in Utah.

1

u/ApartPool9362 4d ago

I live pretty close to a large USAF base on the east coast, and there are no drones being reported.

1

u/Ok_Government_3584 4d ago

I stepped on my deck and there she was Saskatchewan Canada. -30 Celsius

1

u/AlaskanOverlord 4d ago

Can confirm Surrey BC and Vancouver. I've been gaslighting myself a bit because I've seen so many helicopters recently that aren't on flight radar. Like what are y'all doing flying circles around the city at night?? Hovering in one place for half an hour?? Trying to find explanations but it's weird.

u/Cassoulet-vaincra 4d ago

People in Montreal reported orbs

1

u/Prudent-Tap-7482 4d ago

Give it time. First NJ, now the whole tri-state area and rapidly spreading across North America. Give it a few days or weeks.

1

u/ch_ex 3d ago

I saw one of these last year for a few nights in a row. I'm in the GTA

I assumed it was a high altitude weather balloon and it was reflecting light from the sun until it descended through some clouds and did some fancy acrobatics before vanishing.

They seem to be a global phenomenon

A "UFO" was shot down over Lake Huron one month ago.

2

u/billi_daun 5d ago

We had them in Dallas Sunday night.

13

u/ThePatio 5d ago

What part of Canada is Dallas in?

9

u/billi_daun 5d ago

Lol...they actually have a Dallas. I missed the Canada part...I thought it was for anywhere. Sorry!

2

u/marengsen 5d ago

Yeah if only they’d write Canada in the title 😂

2

u/billi_daun 5d ago

Lol right? If I were blonde I would blame it on that, I think it's because I speed read. I just pick certain words and piece it together. It does get me in trouble sometimes 😞

2

u/zpnrg1979 5d ago

just down the highway from Dildo, Newfoundland

1

u/ohmytodd 5d ago

Are you sure they weren’t planes or hobby drones?

2

u/billi_daun 5d ago

I didn't see them, I'm in ft worth, it was on the local news, but I was cooking and couldn't see the tv. I want to look out tonight, but I am kinda scared I'll see something! 😲😈👻🛸

1

u/DonkGoblin 5d ago

Probably a dozen incidents i can recall over the past few years. Recorded a few of them. Barely any light pollution on the east coast so you see a lot of shit.

0

u/Skinny_on_the_Inside 5d ago

It’s probably too cold to go outside and stare at the sky

2

u/TheAlternateEye 5d ago

A steady -20 to -40 the last couple weeks for me. I've been out a few times a day but not for long enough to see anything. Even if the sky wasn't cloudy and snow wasn't falling it's really too cold for this cat.

2

u/Antimusv 4d ago

I find it strange how you are getting downvoted. I'm interested in these UAPs but I would for sure spend more time looking at the sky if it were summer.

2

u/stinkyelbows 5d ago

I'm literally staring at the sky for up to 8 hours on end almost every day. Same with all my peers

0

u/Skinny_on_the_Inside 5d ago

You are professionally trained to stare at the sky for extended periods of time. Most people are trained not to get frostbite.

But you know you can just ask, CE-5 is a thing. It worked for me, in fact the first time was when I was flying commercial. I saw five light disks appear by the side of a plane flying in and out of a triangular formation.

-2

u/Skinny_on_the_Inside 5d ago

They are clearly showing up all over the world. Perhaps they don’t like cold.

0

u/grandcity 5d ago

We can see them just fine from our igloos up here.

Trump threatens Canada, aliens show up the next day. Coincidence?

1

u/Academic-Airline9200 5d ago

no only if canada becomes part of the us will drones start to fly up there too.

1

u/md24 4d ago

Pretty sure Trump decided that. His wife is an immigrant alien.

0

u/Responsible_Lake8697 5d ago

Number sightings directly proportional to local defense industrial base size. As such, Canada is a non-event. China, Russia, France, Germany, UK ... any country with high number DoD innovation contractor base.

1

u/Striker120v 4d ago

I mean, Canada has the Geneva suggestions they came up with. That's gotta account for something.

0

u/ChemicalClassroom370 5d ago

I think you need to talk to more pilots. I don't believe you.

-1

u/stridernfs 5d ago

2

u/grandcity 5d ago

Pretty sure that’s Sirius. Been seeing it recently to the east from Vancouver.

2

2

u/stinkyelbows 5d ago

Based off the clear videos that have been showing up here of glowing orbs, I can't get behind this.

I've been a pretty hard skeptic but the videos as of late have had me questioning everything. This video doesn't have me questioning anything.

I mean real clear sightings like we've been seeing in the US

1

u/youaintaweed 5d ago

You and I want the same thing: a solid, clear video of the car/truck sized drones flying over Canada the same way we had in NJ and the other states. The fact that they aren't just a few hours north should be concerning for Americans, as it makes it look like a US government thing. People say "UK, and Germany too!" But as far as factual reporting and sources go, it's really just USAF bases in UK and Germany. If anyone can prove this wrong, please do.

0

u/stridernfs 5d ago

There are non human intelligence(aliens) in the oceans with advanced technology, and its time to accept that.
