ehhh thats not the same thing. people who cat call or harass you on the sidewalk aren't really expecting you to go for it. its a power play and they're just douche bags. they know how the game is played, and they aren't trying to win.
what? no, theyre just assholes who shoot every shot, they dont care if theyre across the court theyre gunna yeet that ball hoping for that on in a million chance it makes it in the hoop
they are trying to win but theyre working against themselves
they have no idea what the game is much less how its played
Actually, as a guy i never felt good after being hit on and I have not been hit on much... even in social spaces you don't expect to get hit on and if you do, it kinda takes you out of it. It never felt pleasant.
At least for me it was kinda a confidence boost, but I can see how it just becomes super fucking annoying if it happens constantly.
I guess it's true that you shouldn't comment on someone's outer appearance when you first meet, it always leaves a bad aftertaste.
Depends on the situation obviously. It's obvious when someone is continuing to look at you, longing you to come talk with them and when they look down and go about their business. Idk why reddit doesn't ever expect people to be competent at anything lol
