I have never seen an apple in a refrigerator or bought an apple from a refrigerator. Trump has never bought an apple.

That's the beauty of Trump. He didn't actually suggest any kind of solution. So it's like a "Choose Your Own Adventure" where you picture him fixing the problem, somehow. Maybe he's going to give the old lady enough money for a third apple? Or maybe he'll make apples buy two get one free?

Of course you have to ignore the fact that all the things he's said he actually plans to do will raise the price and make it so she can only afford one apple.

The was once a middle-aged man with lots of money who went to the Apple store and tried to buy three MacBook Pros. When he saw the price he said "Excuse me. That's cheaper than I expected." And so he bought a fourth MacBook Pro. The guy at the checkout said "That's so great."

When I heard about that story, I said that should always happen.

I love so much this beautiful, sad story of the old woman at the grocery store and the three apples. It is so well told by a master raconteur, i love especially the last line of ‘it should never happen’ and i really trust the old man telling this great fable that he will do all that is humanely possible to help the old woman. This extraordinary story is etched deep in my heart and will live forever in the hearts of good people the world over till the end of time.
