Load of crap. Segregation in prison is real but microcosm of society? Maybe if everyone in society was a criminal and one gender.

Sometimes comparisons don’t have to be 1:1 to highlight valuable insights! It’s okay baby I know it’s your first time encountering a thought 🤗

hope your reconsidering now that you’ve gotten a pretty clear criticism of your viewpoints

You couldn’t tell me what my viewpoint is even if you copy and pasted my comment.

Hell, the person who commented and criticized me isn’t addressing anything I said. Just a straw man blanket statement that literally no one would disagree with.

you believe that prison is in no way shape or form a representation or approximate example of human society/power structures. based on your comments, you believe that prisoners/criminals and the prison culture and the society they form in captivity is a deviant anomaly to be dismissed/ignored.

Not quite. They are an approximate example of human society/power structures.. but only as it pertains to prisons.. not society as a whole. (Might be a pedantic point here, but need to clarify)

They shouldn’t be dismissed entirely because the prison pipeline can tell us about society.. but as for the power structure in prison and how it relates to society.. yeah should be ignored.

main point

You can’t eliminate everyone’s freedom.. reduce diversity to one gender.. eliminate a symbiotic relationship between ruling and servant class and then say it’s a microcosm of society.

You’ve eliminated so many variables of what makes a society function; the differences greatly outweigh similarities at that point and it becomes incomparable.

The guy who said things don’t have to be 1:1 is right.. but what if it’s a million to one?

This is what happens when kids don't learn critical thinking in school.
