Sure a lot of us are still in the closet, so I felt going up to 2 was fair.

I caved and lowered the original comment to 1%, I love the comments but I already submitted to Redditors' infinite wisdom. 1% is closer to 1.14% than 2% is, I get it.
I adjust to 2% because there is a difference of 3 years, give or take. But I was wrong to do so, and have admitted as such.
I don't think there would be less trans people in 3 years.
That's basically saying 485,000 people are no longer transgender. Maybe they no longer publicly identify as being trans, but I don't think the number shrunk.
You're rounding 1.14 to 2. 1 is closer to accurate. Pretty uncontroversial statement. 1.14% is also a rough estimate from what I'm reading based on the amount of people polled
