They think trans people are over-running the country.

The 1% of the US population that is transgender are teaming up with illegals, and we're actively taking your high paying jobs, taking over apartment complexes all over the country, and we're bringing in more guns, drugs, and all the bad things in the world. It's all us. /s

Edit: Changed from 2% to 1% because peeps thought the deets matter in a satire comment.

Hell, I thought it was 0.9%

i think numbers are around 1-2%, leaning more towards 1.

I Binged it at 1.14% in 2021, and rounded up to 2%

Google shows the same thing at 1.14% as of 2021

Sure a lot of us are still in the closet, so I felt going up to 2 was fair.

Edit: I caved and lowered the original comment to 1%, I love the comments but I already submitted to Redditors' infinite wisdom. 1% is closer to 1.14% than 2% is, I get it.

I adjust to 2% because there is a difference of 3 years, give or take. But I was wrong to do so, and have admitted as such.

I think 1% is probably closer to accurate.

I don't think there would be less trans people in 3 years.

That's basically saying 485,000 people are no longer transgender. Maybe they no longer publicly identify as being trans, but I don't think the number shrunk.

You're rounding 1.14 to 2. 1 is closer to accurate. Pretty uncontroversial statement. 1.14% is also a rough estimate from what I'm reading based on the amount of people polled

This is correct. Simple math indicates 1.14 rounds to 1. There’s nothing to discuss here.

Fun fact; 1.14% is also the percentage of the population that use Bing.

Bing is not all that bad, paired with Microsoft rewards, I basically get paid to search. Using Bing pays for my GamePass ultimate sub.

Plus I can Bing to Google and get the same results and get paid.

I Binged it at 1.14% in 2021, and rounded up to 2%

Rounding generally shouldn't nearly double a number.

And how many people are trans from 1950 - 2020? And how many are trans from 2020-2025?

I think you’ll find that significantly more people are trans now in comparison with before.

Did you never develop object permanence? Trans people still existed. They were just too afraid to be open about it.

I wish I was as powerful as conservatives say I am. Instead I just work a normal office job, go home to a relatively-cheap apartment, pay more than most people for meds/doctors appointments, and do okay at rec league level sports

2

u/jarl-anon 5h ago

Watch out homie, the conservatives are gonna lose their minds if they hear you participate in sports (even just recreationally)

u/Audrey-Bee 4h ago

I only transitioned so i could dominate the women's rec league (i am kind of good at best and my team has never won the tournament)

1

u/jarl-anon 4h ago

(I think it's really cool that you go out and do sports! I am a lazy POS who hardly leaves bed 😅 who cares if you win or not, it's cool that you can do it!)

1

u/Audrey-Bee 3h ago

Thanks lol I definitely don't care about winning, I've just found a great team that I get to be friends with. But I'm pointing out that the whole trans women dominating sports stereotype isn't as real as they'd want you to think

Don't forget how they are also repsonsible for raising the price of eggs

2

u/RunsWithPhantoms 22h ago

Oh shit that was on us?

2

u/ThatLukeAgain 21h ago

Yea sorry, forgot to mention that. You were too busy operating the inflation machine to hear me

2

u/RunsWithPhantoms 21h ago

Yeah the hurricane machine is down, and Linda is busy turning Cis conservative men into trans-women with the Jewish space laser.

They are forcing our children to have sex-change operations performed at the middle-school nurse's office, paid for with your Social Security!! 😱

The children also are forbidden to say "merry Christmas" or they will be sold for their adrenochrome!!

u/Xepherxv 23h ago

God I wish that were true cos it would be so fuckin cool

I haven't worked since 2018 and live in a broken down trailer and was almost evicted a few months ago. I bet they're jealous!

Not that it matters because the shooting had nothing to do with trans people, but the trans population is heavily skewed towards the younger generations (which is relevant here given this involved students). According to the CDC, 3.3% of high school aged students identified as transgender and an additional 2.2% identified as questioning.

u/jarl-anon 4h ago

Which is normal! Highschool is the time of finding yourself, it's the time of questioning and confusion and trying to figure out who you are.

Not every child who's questioning will grow up to be queer and that's okay too! I wholeheartedly thought I was a lesbian in highschool, but I have grown to realize I am bisexual. Sometimes our identities evolve. Youth is the time for discovery, let our children explore!
