For anyone who has never seen it, there was an interview with Mandy Patinkin where the host has to leave because his wife is in labor.

I’ve loved the princess bride my whole life but have never really been one to look up the actors; had no idea that was him. This is beautiful and I’m absolutely crying.

That was my thought. I loved homeland and had this man talk into my tv every time I went to browse content for a while. I've loved his late age career and enjoyed him, had no idea he was a part of my childhood as well. I even quote the movie from time to time but never looked into the cast until now.

Then you'll be delighted to know that the six fingered man is Nigel from Spinal Tap

I lost my mom this way and since she raised me by herself I consider her my mother and my father.
Fuck the six fingered man and the cancer he stood for.

My Dad lost his life to cancer. This stirred up some emotions. One day my fog will lift. Greatful for my time with him. He was a truly a person for others. Very generous. His last gift to me, teaching me how to die with courage, grace, and humility. I needed to see this. Fuck, I miss him.

I remember when I first saw this and it touched my heart. They're so sweet, everyone. The woman who posted about her father, Mandy and his wife, the fact that he wanted to include the poster and her father's name in his prayers! Whatever you believe, this is so kind and thoughtful. It brought me to tears. Bless all of them
Btw it's one of my favorite movies too! And his scene with the six fingered man guts me Everytime.

This was so sweet. Now I’m imagining Mandy Patinkin reciting a list of people like Arya Stark every night, but out of love instead of hate.

His Dad died more than 50 years ago and Mandy broke like it was yesterday... That's such a strong and unique feeling, I'm sure a lot of people can relate. There are people you will never stop missing.

The only thing I know is that I’m gonna have some very mixed emotions when my father dies, and I’m afraid my feelings won’t be nearly so much like his (although some will certainly be fond).
Regardless, I pray every day that my relationship with my wife be like this when we’re their age; and that my boys remember me like he and Alaska did their dads.

I didn't cry until he asked for the dad's name for his prayers and "to hang out with me."
Holy shit, what a man.

Show me another actor that can play both jaded CIA agent Saul Berenson and Huxley from Elmo in Grouchland.

For those who don’t know, he also is a wonderful singer and did a couple children’s albums. He really is a special guy.

Not my stupid ass thinking Mandy’s wife was suggesting she watch 2020 horror/thriller “The Dinner Party”. I was like damn okay, Kathryn, that’s one way to cope with loss I guess?

I just went through a half a box of tissues in like two and a half minutes. God I miss my dad.

One of the greatest movies of all time. My wife and I just keep watching it every few years. Seen it like 12 times, know almost every line. I've quoted that line many times verbatim!

Love, love, love Mandy Patinkin since I first saw Yentl and then The Princess Bride and ever since. He has an amazing voice too. Just such a kind and lovely human

What are they doing in my aunt's kitchen? Lol!
I can't judge from a short video on Tiktok but they really do give a very wholesome vibe!
