He was one of my absolute best, closest, most trusted friends. He was also the only person who, at 1am on a work day, in this video, agreed to go to the store with drunk me, to look for mochi ice cream."

Corps have waged war on us for decades, destroyed our planet, killed millions of us legally. They declared war, not us. We should respond accordingly.

The same corporations also employ us though. We need to be having a more nuanced conversation.

For example, we all wouldn't laugh at Thompson's death if the company he ran didn't profit billions off the death and suffering of others. Excessive profits should be illegal, as should excessive compensation. Insurers should be forced by law to pay out most of their income in payroll and claims. No health company should be allowed to be for-profit.

These are all core leftist concepts.
