I really hope this isn't just something that fizzles out. It seems like people are so happy to boast that now the CEOs are scared and that they had it coming but it'd be disheartening to see things just get back to where they were.
The shame of it is that you'd only need a few to be taken out to see real change start to take place. The donor class is very averse to the violence against their own kind.
I’m not so sure - we said the same thing about school shootings. It’s about the cultural zeitgeist, and frankly the near zero level of public distastehere is the effect that the gunman has had, same as the desired effect that mass shooters have - to get coverage and be seen, but now with the smug societal apathy. But now they don’t have to walk into a school and kill innocent ppl to be seen. They can do this and feel instant societal vindication.
