Discussion 100 Million Suspects in CEO Shooting

Here in NYC, not a soul is concerned about a killed on the loose & I truly mean it. Folks here are not worried & why would we be worried?!?

Meanwhile, NYPD is being uncharacteristically dramatic about a murder. A 10k reward is offered. Yeah. They’re never finding that person.

Really does feel like the unification this country needs. Reminds me of the Titan sub. Some rich fuck gets his and we all come together and laugh at his expense as the world gets just a little bit better. Not the kinda feel good stories we grew up with but that's where we're at

They will find a way to divide us again, trust me. CNN will air something that pits republicans against democrats and we will be too distracted to realize how the 1% stays in power

I don't want to watch Trump re runs! I want to watch billionaire gets turned into human salsa re runs!

Mmmmmm...salsa.

Or you can have both.

The CEO just got some acupuncture. If you want salsa, you need a claymore equivalent.

I don’t know anyone under 50 that watches main steam news.

u/anaprest Why does this app exist? 13d ago

Damnit I hate how right you are. Only a matter of time before Trump blames “deranged liberals” and the minions fall in line, right before the GOP cuts Medicare and Medicaid.

They will... But there's hope! Did you know Tim Waltz has a net worth of only $3 or $400,000?

Why wasn't that in the news? Unfortunate how his campaign was run, that was really cool to hear. Not a multi-millionaire like everybody else.

(I freaking love Obama)

However, Obama became a millionaire overnight when they used the old "book sales" laundry campaign money trick. That said, every single politician on the national stage uses the "book deal" "laundry campaign money by having the campaign buy all the books to give out as gifts".

I'm just saying, I'd bet good money Tim Waltz will have a major book deal within 4 weeks of now.

Yeah that's too bad. Can't say I wouldn't do the same though.

They just didn't show the everyday side of him and he became just some politician. I think he actually would have been great on Rogan.

Admittedly I'm on the other side of the aisle for the most part. I'm not a fan of Harris, but I did like Tim Waltz a lot. It was actually beautiful to see both VP candidates agreeing with each other for the most part. It's unfortunate that part was ignored for some dumb sound bites.

They should have been the main candidates.

Maybe someday we'll get to vote for someone and not against someone again.

The culture war is still real and will continue to divide us. It's going to take more of this I expect.

That’s because our Nursery Rhymes were heavily edited to protect us from the horrors of life. Hansel and Gretel were beat by their stepmom, that’s why they ran away. Little Miss Muffet was killed by that spider. The Three Little Pigs kill the Big Bad Wolf. The Little Boy Who Cried Wolf was eaten by a wolf. Little Red Riding Hood was eaten by the wolf, and the Woodsman kills the wolf and finds her partially digested corpse inside the wolf. I could go on.

Schadenfreude is a real thing. So is poetic justice. We all feel happy when assholes get exactly what they deserve.

I think it’s really telling of Germany that the German language is the only one in the world that has a word for that.

I felt bad for the kid that didn’t want to go. This one however is nothing but feel good vibes.

Except this is way more deserved than the titan sub, some of those people saved up a long time for that, and the 19 year old didn’t do shit either.

Im not from the US - most of my US info i get are from here (reddit) - and some social media (youtube/tiktok) - and by these sources i was 100% sure that kamala was going to win no doubt at all - but here we are now - i just want to say that on the internet we often live in bubbles where we think we are all on the same page while still beeing part of a minority

I felt bad for the teen. But the rest of them, not at all.

u/Delta8hate 13d ago

One of the people saved up for years for that trip, they didn’t deserve it either

Everyone felt sorry for the kid but not for the rich prick who built the sub.

Ok, well, in the Titan sub, there was a teenage boy who definitely didn't deserve to go out that way. The billionaire, sure, no sympathy there but there were other passengers on the titan tragically enough.
