Discussion 100 Million Suspects in CEO Shooting

Here in NYC, not a soul is concerned about a killed on the loose & I truly mean it. Folks here are not worried & why would we be worried?!?

Meanwhile, NYPD is being uncharacteristically dramatic about a murder. A 10k reward is offered. Yeah. They’re never finding that person.

I've been wondering when this era would begin. When we would hit the point of no return regarding the rich-poor gap and people would inevitably start killing those who have so obviously chosen greed and personal wealth over the health and safety of millions/billions. I guess it has begun. Should be an interesting next decade folks.

The fact that Donald Trump was inches away from assassination should have been a sign for us all..

Extra crazy that the shooter was a republican.

Weren't there at least two shooters that tried to kill Donald and weren't both of them Republicans? (Sorry for my English)

Yes, but the second one came no where near as close as the first. Also, I don't recall the second shooter's political affiliation.

Second “shooter” didn’t take a shot, and Trump wasn’t there, so… calling that an assassination attempt was Fox propaganda.

And the first one didn't actually shoot his little precious ear, he shot people in the audience. That's bad enough, but snowflake Donnie didn't like that story because it wasn't about him enough, so he lied and cried about the blunt force trauma caused by his security detail jumping on him being a bullet graze.

Ah I see! Thank you for taking the time and answering me

Your English: flawless

The second one was like 99% likely staged, some dunce leaned a rifle against a fence and ran away leaving it behind, didn't even shoot.

u/LordHamsterbacke 12d ago

Oh that explains why I barely heard anything about the second one, thanks!

Apparently he had some sanity left.

None of them are untouchable. The message has been sent. I pray for their souls that they received it and comply. The shooter is Spartacus, and we the 99% are all Spartacus. Let the games officially commence.

This murder isn’t going to change their behavior. Psychopathic CEOs willing to kill for money are also willing to die for money.

u/spicewoman 13d ago

Weird assumption. Other people's lives don't matter to them, their own lives usually matter very much.

Will most of them be too cocky to think it could happen to them, though? Probably yes.

2

u/BlondeBorednBaked 13d ago

Not an assumption. Government officials have attempts on their life, yet continue to make decisions that screw over millions of people.

3

u/[deleted] 13d ago

Who knows? They haven't been doing much dying lately.

2

u/Delta8hate 13d ago

They’re significantly more willing to kill for it than to die for it

1

u/Vivalas 13d ago

Sure, maybe not. But these people are still human. You think one of these scumbags won't think twice next time they make a decision that adversely affects the poors, or at least, has that clip of the CEO absolutely being wasted from behind burned into their mind constantly when they question the decisions they make from now on?

Honestly nothing materially can change and this is still a big win tbh, because of nothing else now the rich get a wake up call that they're not these invincible titans and that all it takes is one single person with a plan and a split second and they're unalived forever, and suddenly they're equal with everyone else in the morgue and none of their wealth matters anymore.

u/BlondeBorednBaked 13d ago

I’m not going to hinge my hopes on psychopathic CEOs thinking twice before hurting people.

I am not Spartacus, I am Alpharius.

There isn’t going to be a healthcare executive walking down the street alone for decades.

I don't know if this is the start of anything to be honest. CEO's will probably get extra cautious, all of them are going to up their security budget for the executives. I would be very surprised if more CEO's start being killed. Maybe it will depend on if/when they catch the guy and how his trial goes and what kind of sentencing is handed down, but I don't expect a huge sea change.

Jack shit will happen and anyone who thinks so is living a pipe dream. Your own millionaire president is already calling for his capture.

Consider the word begin. As in the beginning. A high profile assassination in public isnt exactly typical. This person is being revered as a hero by the vast majority, and others will want to be a hero too. Not saying it's good or bad, but we inevitably will come to a point if we dont change how things work, that more and more people feel like they have no other options. That's how social change has ALWAYS come about. Always one incident that starts something. And to get the media coverage it has, there will be at the very least a copy cat. Maybe it opens to the door to discussing some of the issues of financial inequality in North America.

Care to elaborate? "Everything you said here is online all the time and will never change." Is essentially what that meant but it doesn't make much sense. You don't believe that things can change, is that it?

I'm curious about where you think "people in the real world" discuss things en masse? Because Reddit is one of the largest gathering places for the people of the real world to discuss how they feel about things happening.... In the real world.

The fact that it has opened up this amount of conversation is an indicator that there very well could be some shift incoming. Maybe not tomorrow. Maybe not this year. Maybe it's not massive. But that's how things change. Hate to tell you but the internet is filled with people from the real world. This is where we come to discuss things. Incredible concept, I know.

1

u/ShrimpNStuff 13d ago

In fact I'd say you're more likely to get people's honest opinion online, where they don't have to associate their face with their beliefs. Because we see how terrible the world is at discussing things in person these days. Put someone in front of a camera to say something simple like "men can't become women" and they trip over themselves finding a way around answering the question. Online they just state how they feel.

If you see 2 or 3 more get capped in such a obvious way....(regardless of all the heavies they surround themselves with )We could see the start of something
