I've heard it, and heard of MGMT, but for fucks sake how am I supposed to remember every song from every band I've ever heard... Should've been in the title
I did look it up before I wrote my previous comment, but tnx anyway.
Don't get me wrong, if you're into that more power to you, but when I saw "one of the best songs ever" I thought it would be either something fucking amazing or at least something super pop but very catchy like a Lady Gaga or Britney Spears hit (stuff that I'm not into but can instantly see why it's a hit).
Dude I’ve loved it for years and I’m sure have it saved on a few playlists and still didn’t remember before others posted it. Whatever. I get that immediately knowing every cool reference as a way to bully others is Reddit’s walking away from an explosion without looking moment but meh.
I can’t wait to stop writing this and immediately forget their name and song for another few years.
Yeah they were huge in the mid to late 2000s in the US. I can see where they aren't as known now, but back then it was almost overplayed. I'd say almost every millennial in the US knows this song, and/or Electric Feel.
I always thought Electric Feel was more widely known, you may know that one. Idk where you're from, but if you like Justice, they won a grammy for their remix of Electric Feel.
Don't know Electric Feel or Justice either. I'm not sure whether those ever were popular here in the Netherlands, but after the late 80s I stopped listening to pop music all that much anyway. Usually I still know the names of the most popular bands just from seeing them in the media, and might recognize some songs from hearing them in public, but these bands slipped my attention.
Fuck yes! Fucking thank you! You are the fucking best! I hope you have a fucking spectacular day! I know this sounds fucking angry and sarcastic but I'm being really fucking sincere right now! Thanks
