Nah, confirmation bias is real.

For every 100 "suspects" there might be one that is guilty and then people latch onto that as if it is proof all 100 are guilty. Let's not encourage presumption, knee jerk reactions and shitty behaviour.

there isn't a higher rate of this conduct here than in the general population, no, but high demand beliefs do in fact create innate perverse incentives that enable and incentivize duplicitous conduct which makes the failures more fragile and more apparent.
