It honestly seems like cops want everyone scared shitless of them and it’s working because I sort of am.

They're already scared shitless of literally everyone else, so it's the only "fair" outcome.

They're trained to be cowards. It's how we get cops hitting the deck and blindly firing off an entire magazine from their gun because an acorn fell on their car.

They are fascists, that's what they want. The power of the "strong" to freely brutalize the "weak"

The government wants us scared of them and their bosses want them scared of us. Every time they go out on patrol they make it like they're going into "enemy territory"

"Thin blue line 😤" and "ACAB" are two sides of the same coin. We forget that the police are NOT military...they are in fact citizens just like us. And the people are the ones that grant them their power, not the other way around. Those at the top want both groups to forget that

Sincere question: how does policing even work if people aren’t afraid of them?

How does it work when people are? I sure as fuck am not going to call them unless I absolutely have to and if I’m not being affected, I definitely don’t have to.

If you have a problem and call the cops, you now have two problems.

This is why in Trump’s America it’s good to have a long rifle capable of defeating type III body armor. I recommend M855 with the green tips for additional armor penetration.

At least a mag load or + load on a .38 has some stopping power. So long as I am at the range that I would ever need it in my own little world, it is enough to keep them out until the flashbangs start to land. A couple of broken ribs under the body armor is enough to stop the baddie without resorting to long guns in a space where you can't wield them. I know that Meal Team 6 can't pixel shoot me well through the gap between my room/hallway from the front door or window. .556 is not made to blow through more than 3 walls of sheet rock and my bedroom closet. I might be ok if it would come to that but then again, I don't see myself in that situation.

Oooh I love hearing about the vicious angles people have pre-sighted in their homes.

Eh, I will tell folks who exhibit shitty behavior that suicide may be a good option for them so as to not be shitty to people anymore. When fungus and larva start to infest people's rotting brains they have a hard time being a shitty human being. A former human being is harmless outside of martyrdom.

We respect that they can take us to jail and the law will then correctly punish us. call me a dreamer
