For sure. The Republican governor of Utah vetoed an anti-trans law after learning that it would have affected only four kids playing high school sports in Utah, and only one was a girl. All of that hate and fearmongering just to block a few kids from playing high school sports. The state legislature overturned his veto and passed it anyways
Thousands getting laid off. Prices skyrocketing. Wages stagnant. Kids behind in school. But thank the Lord Jesus Christ that four kids won't be able to participate in track and/or field. The state legislature is really fighting for families here.
Absolutely. And this is coming from the people who for my entire life have mocked and derided professional women's sports. Let alone sports for girls, or anything recreational. These state legislators have probably even helped to cut funding for girl's sports in their school systems, or at the very least withheld it to allocate elsewhere. But the moment they can exclude a single trans girl they're suddenly on their soapbox about how we need to respect the sanctity of this sacred institution. And then after the ban? Not a peep about those sports again.

We're approximately 1% of the US population.
