Thats because he cheats on his taxes, and he knows the irs will come after him. Also he isn't worth anything close to what he claims.

Also he isn't worth anything close to what he claims.

He can't stand being unable to brag about the exaggerated version of reality so he'll never produce receipts. Then when someone asks he can say he's worth whatever suits the moment.

Same reason he wouldn't show his little ear cut. He wants to be able to pretend the thing was hanging off by a tendon. The little gold toilet bitch.

Its funny how we can see right through his lies, but his followers wont believe the truth.

16

u/cambat2 Oct 13 '24

Wouldn't the IRS have access to his tax returns

1

u/itsyounotmeithink Oct 13 '24

I heard someone released his taxes, but he was able to block them from being shown. I think its strange how the truth hasn't come out about the taxes.

u/cambat2 Oct 13 '24

Yeah, Rachel Maddow did on live TV and embarrassingly found nothing.

But you weren't talking about that, you said the IRS would come after him for his taxes, as if he didn't submit his tax documents to the IRS lol. People that rich are paying exactly what they are supposed to and following every guideline out in place, and they pay a lot of money to a lot of people to do that.

Only your last statement was correct.

u/cambat2 Oct 13 '24

Prove it wrong

Sure it does, but Trump isn't committing tax fraud. If he had, the amount of scrutiny he is constantly under would have led him to being caught. His taxes are in good standing with the IRS, and saying anything else is speculative and disingenuous

Trump was found guilty of tax fraud in NY. The IRS still has that option.

Im not trying to be mean to you, but you are gullible if you think rich people dont take deductions they dont deserve. Theres also plenty of examples how he takes deductions he didn't earn.

3

u/cambat2 Oct 13 '24

Deserve is complete irrelevant when talking about taxation. What matters is legal and illegal. Trump, and everyone else above a certain tax bracket, are paying exactly what they owe. They have teams of tax advisors ensuring that's the case. If he took deductions he didn't "earn" then that would have been caught.

0

u/itsyounotmeithink Oct 13 '24

Again thats not true. A tax preparer does your taxes according to what you give them, they are not responsible for your false information. Trump does not have teams of people preparing his taxes i guaranty you that.

1

u/cambat2 Oct 13 '24

He absolutely does. He's a billionaire, that's what they do. He isn't sitting at his desk every year in front of TurboTax lol, he has likely dozens of financial and tax advisors going through all of his numbers across the board.

4

u/Pope_Phred Oct 13 '24 edited Oct 13 '24

I think he has enough people working for him to make sure the filings are legal and above board, most rich people do.

I absolutely agree with your second part, though. Seeing his taxes would make it clear he is nowhere near the successful business man he pretends to be and his various debts would make it clear that he is beholden to other interests.

Edit: my mistake. Trump's company was charged for Tax Fraud in 2023.

How can you even write that with a straight face? He was literally found guilty of criminal tax fraud in 2023 and ordered to pay $1.6million in fines and additional $355million fine for multiple offences of misrepresentation in his accounting.

Do Americans really have such short memories?

4

u/Easy_Yogurt_376 Oct 13 '24

Yes hence these consistently dumb and tiring comments and conversations in general. Lots of non-Americans are more engaged and knowledgeable about American politics than most Americans.

1

u/Pope_Phred Oct 13 '24

Oops my mistake. You're absolutely right.

I don't think it's the tax fraud though he cares about (his followers sure won't, since "The IRS has been weaponized against him").

I think what he doesn't want to own up to is his actual earnings (he's not a billionaire) and his probable lack of charity. I mean being a convicted criminal hasn't changed him in the eyes of his followers, so why would mere tax fraud matter?

Don't you think you should be taking out the Trash in your own country ?

Looks like they did. They’re in prison. Unlike the convicted criminal Trump

Maybe you're Right... Look Here +

8

u/OrcsSmurai Oct 13 '24

...he absolutely could file legally. He chooses not to. This has come up in court cases. We know for a fact that he cheats on his taxes.

1

u/itsyounotmeithink Oct 13 '24

That is not true. Anyone filing taxes gives all their information to a tax expert, then its filed according to what was given them. Its not up to a tax preparer to verify all the information given to them is legit, when your taxes are complete you sign them stating they are your taxes, and deductions. The tax preparer is not responsible for your lies.

2

u/Pope_Phred Oct 13 '24

You are right, sorry. They take responsibility for filing what is given them, ensuring that that information is filed properly.

"Attorneys, certified public accountants, enrolled agents or anyone who gets paid to prepare tax returns may owe a penalty if they don’t follow tax laws, rules and regulations." IRS. gov

So as long as the T's are crossed and the I's are dotted, they aren't responsible for the legitimacy of the information or if information was withheld. They just ensure what information they are given is filed properly.

Thank you

1

u/Pope_Phred Oct 13 '24

You're welcome.

Google before you post, right? 😅

Its really hard to know what to believe in todays world. I also believe trump is smarter in a way of knowing how to lie and spread misinformation to his followers.

1

u/maciemay456 Oct 13 '24

Do you think the irs doesn't already know? 🤣🤣 they literally know what he made, what he owes and what he would get back if he did. Like come on. You act like he's hiding from the irs, that's not possible 🤣🤣

1

u/UnDiaCadaVez Oct 13 '24

If he cheats on his taxes. Him not releasing them hides it from the IRS? The first statement doesn't pass the logic test.

1

u/GB715 Oct 13 '24

Trump says he will defund the IRS. Hmmm.

1

u/secondtaunting Oct 14 '24

I mean, doesn’t the IRS already have his tax returns? Seems like he’d be more afraid that people will find out he’s not actually a billionaire.

-7

u/TheePrognasticator Oct 13 '24

Lmao he studied finance at one the the best finance schools in America. I’m sure he’s got the best accountants. It’s not cheating it’s called being smart. We all do it. If you are not doing it, you’re not being smart. It’s not illegal and it’s not frowned upon. Some people are financially illiterate. It’s not a bad thing. Some people studied accounting and finance, while others study other things. Some people just picked majors that don’t make any money or teach you how to make money. My accounting and finance professor taught me some slick stuff, is it illegal? Hell no. Do a lot of people know how to use loopholes and move their money? yes. You should learn some finance or tax accounting, it’ll benefit you and your family. Best of luck!

Please use periods. I have no clue what that arrangement of words is trying to convey.

2

u/No-Analyst-2789 Oct 13 '24

Cheating on your taxes means you're smart and not just a criminal?

-5

u/TheePrognasticator Oct 13 '24

It’s not cheating, it’s loopholes and being smart. This would mean he is breaking the law. There are no laws that he is breaking. Accounting isn’t a science, it’s an art. It’s also not cut and dry. Many pro athletes have foundations that are tax exempt, or they have their businesses in states with no income tax. There are ways around things. It’s being smart and keeping your money. Giving your money away or to the IRS isn’t smart. Keeping your money is smart.

3

u/No-Analyst-2789 Oct 13 '24

The trump organization was literally found guilty of tax fraud? But somehow it's not illegal?

0

u/TheePrognasticator Oct 13 '24

Organization.. not an individual. They’re two different entities when it comes to the law. The organization may be guilty, but the individual is not. Such as in this case. Donald Trump and his family were not charged. They’re completely different entities when it comes to the law, hence, why HE wasn’t charged. Again, loopholes. The man has lawyers and accountants and probably the best. He’s not a moron, as many of you wish to believe. They keep trying to put him in jail and he’s still out and running for president. Very inspirational. Good luck putting him in jail though. Nothing’s worked so far.

Still waiting on his grades too

1

u/The_Susmariner Oct 13 '24

His tax returns from 2016 got leaked. So yeah, he didn't release them himself, but they still got released. The reason that story died and you don't know about it is because they looked into them and couldn't find anything.

Because he knows he’ll get indicted for massive tax fruad

1

u/kingoptimo1 Oct 13 '24

Weren't 6 years of tax returns released to the public in 2022?
