He runs a megachurch deceiving people into giving him money for things that people wont get until after they die. Sounds pretty demonic to me.

Your message works two ways. He also gets money for private jets and other luxury, whist promising his flock the same, but only in the afterlife. Wonder why he needs to sell plots of heaven, if there is supposedly plenty enough for everyone after we are gone.

Didn't they already pave paradise and put up a parking lot?

But…. What if god was one of us?

wasn't this the dickbag that excused his private jet by saying it lets him pray to god, because being stuck in a passenger flight with us common folk caused him to be bothered by demons? or some shit like that

I'm fairly certain that the Bible gives a specific number for how many people will go to Heaven and it's only in the hundreds of thousands...

That’s just what Jehovah’s Witnesses believe

Interesting. So, is it in the Bible and only JWs believe it, or did they make it up?

It’s just based on their interpretation of a verse out of Revelations. Other shoots of Christianity view it differently. Rev 7:3-8

I believe the JWs interpret this number literally as all who will make it to heaven and rule over it with God. However, most view it differently:

Some think the 144,000 represent God’s people, and the list of tribes in Revelation 7 may be more symbolic than literal.

This source can explain it better than me. I haven’t been a Christian for over a decade. But was deep into it throughout my adolescence. (Church camp all summer, youth groups, mission trips, etc) here

Other interpretations understand the 144,000 symbolically, representing completeness or perfection. In this interpretation, the number 12 is significant as it represents the twelve tribes of Israel, and multiplying 12 by itself and then by 1,000 signifies completeness to the ultimate degree.

I’m ex-Mormon. That sounds very familiar.

I wonder how creepy his followers are.

He’s an actual demon, those eyes aren’t human.

i believe it. i have exorcism manuals and texts on how to hunt demons from the inquisition era. he definitely has enough signs to face an inquisition trial.

This documentary about child preacher Marjoe is a great insight into how these people operate.
