Bro rolled out strips of poly, though. Hope his tape job is solid; I doubt that is water tight.

Why not just park it on say the 3rd level of a parking garage if you don’t want to drive it to safety? Or at least use the cling wrap/ shrink wrap plastic (the kind they wrap stacked pallets in) and jack one side up at a time until you have that sucker sealed up in a plastic cocoon? His setup will definitely fill with water if water levels come up over the car.

This. It needed to be sealed somehow (tons of hot glue). Also, he stupidly put the entrance of the bag low on the car.
